VIDEO: GLENN BECK MOCKING PELOSI

Beck's impersonation of Pelosi is flat out sardonic - and very funny. In fact, it's worth watching even if you've already seen the Pelosi press conference about Obama going back on his promises that C-SPAN will be allowed to show the health care negotiations. The other really good part is at the end when he makes the case that these lying politicians are so egregious, they should go to jail.

AUDIO: C-SPAN LEADER CHIMES IN ON CONTROVERSY

C-SPAN head Brian Lamb appeared on the radio show of far left liberal (progressive) Bill Press. Lamb - perhaps more than anyone in recent memory - is at the center of a political firestorm but is widely viewed by both sides as not being part of the problem. It's really phenomenal to watch it all unfold.

In this interview, even Bill Press is taking Lamb's side, that C-SPAN should be allowed to let the cameras roll during the health care negotiations. Lamb also takes a shot at Obama for using C-SPAN as a "political football".

Obama is losing the far left on this issue because the lies are so indisputable, blatant, and egregious. He's lost Cafferty, Press, and Chip Reid already. Who's next?

I'm finding it increasingly ironic that C-SPAN's most successful congressional accountability feat may just end up being what it DIDN'T show.

VIDEO: C-SPAN ISSUE DRIVING WEDGE BETWEEN OBAMA AND PELOSI?

If there's one thing politicians hate, it's being put in completely un-spinnable positions. In the C-SPAN scandal, that's exactly what Obama has done to his party's congressional leaders, not to mention his press secretary, Robert Gibbs. Gibbs has no choice. He is ordered to look like a fool answering the un-spinnable and he does an excellent job of it.

Nancy Pelosi isn't bound by the same kind of allegiance to the One and she obviously doesn't like the position Obama has put her in. At this press conference, she too jumps on the Joe Wilson, "you Lie" bandwagon, which is pretty funny considering the look on her face when Wilson shouted it out.

No, she doesn't call Obama a "liar" but the implication is inescapable. When she's challenged about Obama's campaign promise to show the negotiations on C-SPAN, she dismisses it as one of many campaign promises he made. Ok, if he broke this one, isn't that a LIE? Pelosi is clearly agitated by being put in this situation and she clearly sees Obama as the reason for it.

Obama went too far with the C-SPAN comments. That is becoming more and more obvious now that we see what he had in mind. Even if he'd have said the negotiations would be "open" and left it at that, he likely could have wiggled his way out of it. As it is, the word "C-SPAN" is very specific and that mis-calculation is causing some very significant fissures within the Democrat party.

VIDEO: OBAMA RIPPED BY........JACK CAFFERTY?

A sure sign that the C-SPAN-should-be-allowed-to-show-healthcare-negotiations debate is being lost by the White House. As embarrassing as Robert Gibbs' performance has been on this issue in recent days, the Obama administration has always been about the kool-aid. Obama has remained popular and free of liberal media criticism regardless of how blatant and egregious his many missteps have been.

However, when someone like Jack Cafferty at CNN picks up Joe Wilson's "you Lie" ball and runs with it, Obama may have a serious problem on his hands.

Yes, politicians lie all the time. The problem for Obama here is that the disparity between the eight times he was recorded saying the health care negotiations would be on C-SPAN juxtaposed with what's really going on is so blatantly obvious that even his most ardent supporters are feeling put-off by it.

Couple that with the fact that the majority of this country has already rejected Obamacare. This entire C-SPAN mess gives that majority an incredible weapon in the debate.

VIDEO: ROBERT GIBBS IS CORNERED BIG TIME

WOW! No, I mean WOW! Yesterday, the White House press corps. first pressed Gibbs about C-SPAN'S Brian Lamb formally asking the White House to honor its commitment to allow the cable network to show the health care negotiations. Gibbs did not answer the question because there was no way to do so without admitting the lie or creating a new one.

The arrogance was palpable.

Today, it got much worse because what you see in the exchange between Chip Reid and Gibbs is a man who is simply trapped and cannot wiggle out of it. Compounding all of this is Naked Emperor's release of a video montage that shows Obama claiming eight times on the campaign trail that the health care negotiations will be on C-SPAN. It is this level of specificity that makes the lie that much more inescapable. This is literally fascinating to watch. I realize the media has been more than passive when it comes to this administration but this is the kind of stuff that puts blood in the water that can't be ignored.

CLICK HERE to watch Gibbs writhe in political agony.

YOU LIE!!

Paging Joe Wilson.....

VIDEO: C-SPAN CALLING OBAMA ON HIS PROMISE MAY HAVE LEGS

The C-SPAN argument is not new but when its Founder and CEO Brian Lamb politely threw down the gauntlet with the Obama administration recently, it may have provided a necessary spark, especially in light of the eight times Obama was caught on tape during the campaign proudly boasting that health care negotiations during his presidency would be out in the open and shown on C-SPAN.

This ad from the GOP appears to be effectively piggybacking on the issue.

VIDEO: ROVE PASSIONATELY SLAMS OBAMA / GIBBS

On one hand, I feel the same anger Rove is expressing. On the other hand, I have been waiting for quite some time to see this kind of passion from members of the political establishment. If this clip is any indication of what we can expect in 2010, perhaps "above the fray" discourse will reach its end, to which I say GOOD RIDDANCE.

It is NO LONGER OK to disagree without being disagreeable. It's time to start seeing this level of passion and anger on a much more regular basis. The Founding Fathers had plenty of knock-down-drag-out fights and it spawned the greatest nation in history.

I also am impressed with Greta lately. Long gone are the days when she spent an hour on Anna Nicole-Smith type sagas and I genuinely look forward to her show these days.

VIDEO: OBAMA'S MANY PROMISES ABOUT HEALTHCARE DEBATE ON C-SPAN

Naked Emperor brings forth eight instances of Barack Obama engaging in what must necessarily be considered LIES. I've said it before but Joe Wilson's "you lie" shout out to Obama on 9/9/09 at the joint session of congress has aged like a fine wine despite his courage being met with censure.

YOU LIE!

Here, Obama is caught lying eight times in light of the way the healthcare negotiations are being handled - behind closed doors. Not only is C-SPAN prohibited from airing them but Republicans are prohibited from being in the room. Check out what Obama said during the campaign.

I also found it interesting that the one big mistake he attributes to the Clintons' health care plan going up in flames is the fact that it was negotiated in secret. That should count as another lie because he is endorsing the same mistake.

VIDEO: POLITICO REPORTER GETS EARFUL ON TOWN HALLS

The look on the face of Politico reporter Manu Raju while listening to "Leah" from New Hampshire give her take on the town hall protests was eerily reminiscent of the look on the face of Evan Smith, editor of Texas Monthly when he interviewed Ted Nugent on KLRU (PBS Austin back in April).

"Leah" spoke not one falsehood and she did it with such passion that any attempt at a retort on the part of Raju or the other guy would have resulted in a smackdown heretofore not witnessed over the phone.

For posterity, here's the Nugent interview....
