SHOCKING DEVELOPMENTS IN RIFQA BARY CASE

The case involving a young woman who fled her Muslim parents last year is taking a very interesting turn indeed. On the day Rifqa Bary turns 18 - a day that couldn't arrive fast enough for her - she may be breathing a sigh of relief as her father, Mohamed may end up on the hot seat while also adding heaps of credibility to his daughter's claims that if she were ordered returned to her parents, she would be killed.

Jawa is reporting on a very serious charge of witness intimidation, courtesy of Mohamed, court documents show:
According to those court documents, some still under court seal, Mohamed Bary threatened Rifqa's counselor, Jennifer Dorn, through his own court-appointed counselor, saying that "bad things happen to people who testify". As a result, Dorn steadfastly refuse to testify on Rifqa's behalf in court last week in fear for her life as a magistrate considered whether to keep her in state custody until her 18th birthday tomorrow.
There appears to be an issue with the Franklin County prosecutor, however. Ron O'Brien is allegedly refusing to charge the elder Bary because "it would reflect negatively on the Muslim community" according to a source Jawa claims to have inside the Prosecutor's office.

Bolstering the credibility of Jawa's claims is the timing of O'Brien's office apparent change of course, saying that the reason they're not yet charging Bary is because it's a matter left to a police agency that needs to file a report that would prompt an investigation. Such an explanation is so absurd on its face but is made even more so when you consider, as Jawa reminds us, that O'Brien was quick to prosecute one of Rifqa's attorneys for making a mistake in filing a court document.

I think it's safe to say that young - now 18 - Rifqa Bary has more guts than the Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O'Brien.

Jawa has posted contact information for O'Brien's office.

RIFQA BARY UPDATE: FINALLY SOME GOOD NEWS

Do you remember that nice young lady from Columbus, OH who made the news one year ago shortly after her 17th birthday? Rifqa Bary converted from Islam to Christianity and fled from her parents, finding safety in Orlando, FL. Her parents demanded her return. She pleaded with America not to let that happen.

Her fate was tenuous for nearly the entire year. At one point, she was ordered back to Columbus. Now we have a judge saying that it will not be possible for Rifqa to be returned to her parents before her 18th birthday:
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A juvenile court judge in Columbus, Ohio, has granted a runaway Christian convert's request to declare reunion with her Muslim parents impossible, paving the way for the girl to fight deportation.

Magistrate Mary Goodrich said Thursday that reconciliation between Rifqa Bary and her parents isn't possible before she turns 18 on Tuesday. Goodrich also said it's not in the girl's best interest to return her to her native Sri Lanka.
The teenager has been battling cancer this year and is also an illegal immigrant. What does it say about us pro-illegal immigration enforcement conservatives that we want to prevent Bary from being deported?

Answer that one, liberals.

More on Rifqa's story, which started last year, HERE.

RIFQA BARY UPDATE: MEDIA AIDING THE PARENTS?

Seventeen-year old Rifqa Bary is currently in Columbus awaiting her fate. As she does, it appears we have some very interesting developments. The Columbus Dispatch's Meredith Heagney has been suspected of being sympathetic to Bary's Muslim parents and the larger Muslim community in Columbus in general. Now it looks like the Barys conducted media interviews in the offices of CAIR with the CAIR representative likely counseling them on how to respond.

Not only that but the interviewers, including Heagney, seemed to parrot the talking points spouted by the Barys and sanctioned by CAIR.

Rusty at JAWA reports:
a source who was inside a secret strategy meeting conducted by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) earlier this week has conveyed the strategy that the media's favorite Islamist group has devised to respond to the ongoing public relations crisis. According to my source who attended the strategy session, CAIR officials handed out copies of this Orlando Sentinel article and want supporters to push the meme that Christians have brainwashed and abducted this gullible teenage girl. They have also instructed supporters to circulate rumors that Rifqa had been carousing with infidel boys and engaged in acts of immorality. This CAIR strategy takes the focus off the near-universal Islamic legal precepts and Quranic injunctions that demand death for apostates and impugns the character of the innocent girl at the center of this controversy who appears to be in genuine fear for her life if she is returned to her parents.

That media narrative of Rifqa being brainwashed and abducted by a Christian cult was one that was carried by many media outlets, most notably Meredith "Hijab" Heagney of the Columbus Dispatch, Michael Kruse of the St. Petersburg Times, among others. In all their reporting, however, they carefully left the connections of the terror-tied CAIR out of their stories.

But from my source inside CAIR comes new information indicating media complicity with respect to concealing CAIR's backstage management of the case on behalf of Rifqa's allegedly abusive parents.
These reporters are too cowardly to be complicit in this absurdity. Again, it would appear that a more likely answer would be STOCKHOLM SYNDROME.

CAIR, THE MUSLIM MAFIA, AND RIFQA BARY

Looks like what James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles did to ACORN has been done to the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) by P. David Gaubatz and Paul Sperry with a new book called Muslim Mafia. While both ACORN and CAIR are proving destructive to America, concern about the latter may be more immediate - in the form of the situation involving Rifqa Bary.

Rifqa Bary, the 17 year-old Christian who fled to Florida to escape her Muslim parents who she claims will kill her if she is returned to them in Columbus, OH needs to have these revelations about CAIR introduced into her case. Bary's parents were represented by attorneys from CAIR. Now we learned this week that she is being ordered back to Ohio.

The FLORIDA BAPTIST WITNESS has up to date information on Bary's current status. Meredith Heagney at the COLUMBUS DISPATCH, who has shown a bit more deference to Bary's parents than she should in past articles, also reports on the latest. As Heagney points out, Bary is not being sent directly to her parents but she is one step closer by being ordered back to her local child protective services office, who will no doubt be subjected to more pressure from the local Muslim community than their counterpart in Florida.

It appears that the Florida judge is passing likely what he perceives as a hot potato in the form of a young lady to another judge, who happens to be much closer to Rifqa's parents. Heagney reports,
Franklin County Children Services will have temporary custody of religious runaway Fathima Rifqa Bary once she returns to Ohio.
Back to the MUSLIM MAFIA. What this book does is draw much clearer connections between CAIR, the Muslim Brotherhood, and Hamas. What many suspected and even knew, looks to be now confirmed thanks to some undercover work reminiscent of what happened to ACORN recently.

For some perspective, the Muslim Brotherhood was formed in the early 20th century and later was led by a man named AMIN AL-HUSSEINI, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem who was also an ally of Adolf Hitler. CLICK HERE to see the minutes of a meeting between Husseini and Hitler.

So what does it all mean for Rifqa Bary? Phyllis Chesler has a piece at PAJAMAS MEDIA that gives some concrete examples of the Honor killings Rifqa Bary is afraid of being perpetrated on her if she is made to go back to her parents.

And of course, we also have the infamous Facebook Threat against Rifqa as well.

RIFQA BARY THREATENED VIA FACEBOOK

At the most recent hearing for Rifqa Bary on September 3rd it was learned that despite the judge's ruling that the findings of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) be sealed, the report allegedly finds no threat to Rifqa Bary from her parents. Some new evidence may force FDLE to rethink its findings.

JAWA REPORT has uncovered a Facebook Group consisting of 123 members that includes a blatant threat on Rifqa's life. Jawa also reports that both the FDLE and FBI have been notified (Screen shot to left).

On a somewhat different but very related note, Tom Trento of the Florida Security Council has started a website called the RIFQA BARY STORY. I've posted the video of Trento below.

The site also contains an extremely thorough and detailed report with countless references, photos, and document excerpts on the Mosque that Rifqa's parents attend, the Noor Islamic Center in Dublin, OH. If, as Robert Spencer reported during my interview with him, FDLE officials sat with the attorneys for Rifqa's parents and did in fact conclude that she is in no danger if returned to her parents, then what should clear minded individuals conclude after reading this STAGGERING EVIDENCE? Now we learn that the FBI has been notified and should be digging into the facts of this case as well.

While there are some disturbing behaviors being exhibited by both Florida and Ohio officials in this case, the reality is that Rifqa is still in Florida (at least until September 28th). There is still time for those officials to do the right thing and investigate further the facts in this case.

Also disturbingly strange is that the supposed real journalists who write for papers like the ORLANDO SENTINEL and the COLUMBUS DISPATCH aren't doing their due diligence. Bloggers, like ROBERT SPENCER, PAMELA GELLER, and TRENTO, are the ones doing the heavy lifting.

Florida Governor Charlie Crist is another one to watch. If he allows this young lady to be returned to Ohio despite all of the evidence that she is in danger, he will be responsible if anything does indeed happen to her. His challenger, Marco Rubio has already taken an interest in this case and has made a STRONG STATEMENT in defense of Rifqa.

Here is a short 2 minute video of Trento introducing the site.

ROBERT SPENCER ON BARRACK SHOW THIS SUNDAY

Robert Spencer has been following the case of Fathima Rifqa Bary very closely. Bary is a 17-year old girl with devout Muslim parents who fled to Florida from Columbus, OH after converting to Christianity and fearing for her life because of her apostasy, a crime punishable by death in Islam.

On September 3rd, there was a hearing in Orlando intended to establish what Rifqa's fate should be. Robert Spencer (pictured), founder of JIHAD WATCH was there for a first hand account. The good news is that Rifqa is not immediately going back to Columbus and will remain in Florida until the next hearing on September 28th. The bad news is that Rifqa appears to be facing an unsympathetic local media and investigations that point to her not being in any harm if she is returned to Columbus.

Tune in this Sunday, September 6th at 7:05am CT as I talk with Robert about what he saw, his take on local media coverage, and how he thinks the case will pan out.

As a warm-up, check out THIS POST on Spencer's blog where he chimes in on a report from the St. Petersburg Times. If this report is true, when coupled with the conclusions reached by the authorities in Ohio about Rifqa's safety, I'm reminded of two quotes from two rather famous people - one from the 18th Century and the other from the 20th.

"Evil can only succeed when good men do nothing."
- Edmund Burke

"Appeasers are like those who feed the crocodiles, hoping to be eaten last."
- Winston Churchill

VIDEO: RIFQA BARY FREE FOR ANOTHER MONTH

Rifqa Barry will NOT be sent back to Columbus and will get to stay in Florida....for now. In the August 21st hearing, Judge Daniel Dawson ruled for an investigation and another hearing to be held today. The Orlando Sentinel reported that Dawson kept the findings sealed and is sending the case to mediation with the next hearing set for September 29th:
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) was tasked with investigating the alleged threats, but what the state agency found will remain under a court-ordered seal.
The most disturbing excerpt from the ORLANDO SENTINEL had to do with with what the attorney of Bary's mother seems to know:
...a brief courtroom statement from Roger Weeden, the lawyer representing Rifqa's mother, gives some insight. He said there was "a favorable report from FDLE" that says there's no threat to Rifqa, should she be returned to her home.

Before he could finish, however, Weeden was cut off by Rifqa's appointed Guardian Ad Litem, Krista Bartholomew, who reminded the court that the document was under seal.
Bartholomew went on to admit that she had concerns about the interview Bary had with the FDLE that did not include attorneys.

Another very important development to watch involves the Department of Children and Families (DCF), which seems to be operating on a premise that seeks reuniting all family members instead of one that involves a clean slate. The Sentinel reported...
After the hearing, John K. Cooper, director of the Central Region for DCF, said that mediation will allow the parties to look at several different issues. There are "very complicated issues at hand," he said.

"It's going to take a lot of work to get this family back together," he said.
Uh, who is Cooper to determine that's a desirable goal? If Bary is right, that'd be like saying, "It's going to take a log of work to put that creature back in the grip of that python."

ABSOLUTELY ABSURD! Ohio authorities have already determined Columbus safe for Rifqa Bary to return to. These "authorities" better be careful that they not submit to cowardice on a massive scale. If Bary is telling the truth (and I believe with near 100% certainty she is), it will mean these "authorities" are complicit, corrupt, negligent, or utter and complete gutless cowards.

Robert Spencer at JIHAD WATCH has much more on TODAY'S EVENTS and his account doesn't paint a very pretty picture of local media...
I'm in Orlando, Florida, at the Rifqa Bary hearing. Tom Trento of the Florida Security Council, Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs and I held a press conference outside the courtroom a little while ago, for a skeptical and sometimes hostile press. The press conference was disrupted several times by Muhammad Lutfi, an Ohio Muslim with connections to the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations; he has clearly taken a great interest in this case.

We explained about the jihadist connections of the Noor mosque, about Islamic apostasy law, and about Islamic honor killing. The mainstream media flocked to Lutfi, because he was telling them what they want to hear, but he was lying openly about Islamic apostasy law, denying that Muhammad had said, "If anyone changes his religion, kill him," and when I pointed out that this was in a hadith in Bukhari, the collection of traditions of Muhammad that Muslims consider most reliable, he denied that also.
Frankly, based on all I've read to this point, I'm suspicious of the FDLE, the DCF, and the Orlando Sentinel (that last one is an understatement).

MUST SEE VIDEO... Pamela Gellar of ATLAS SHRUGS was in the courtroom today and interviewed a friend of Rifqa Bary, who is also a Muslim convert to Christianity.

JUDGMENT DAY #2 FOR RIFQA BARY TODAY

Fathima Rifqa Bary is a 17-year old girl who fled to Florida after converting from Islam to Christianity in order to escape her Muslim parents, who she claims will kill her if she's sent back to Columbus, OH.

On August 21st, a Florida judge ruled that Rifqa's claims be investigated and another hearing be held today (September 3rd). Since the 21st, there has been much uncovered about the Noor Islamic Cultural Center, the mosque attended by Bary's family. Its ties to very radical Islamists are proving to validate the young girl's claims.

Now this from the COLUMBUS DISPATCH, which is reporting that Noor has begun to distance itself from the Bary case:
Mobin-Uddin, a Columbus pediatrician, was among the members of the Hilliard mosque who invited reporters to the facility yesterday afternoon for a tour and to distance themselves from the legal battle between the 17-year-old girl, Fathima Rifqa Bary, and her family.
It would appear that if ever Edmund Burke's famous words apply to a current situation, this would be it..

The only thing necessary for evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing.

The Noor Center is on defense and they appear to be quite familiar with playing the victim card based on race, religion, or some other perceived difference.
The Noor Center said in its release that "hate groups appear to be using this family matter as an opportunity to attack the Muslim community and Islamic organizations in order to further their religious and political goals."
No one is attacking the Muslim community. What's happening is that investigations into the mosque are revealing that it has very close ties to very bad people.

ATLAS SHRUGS has been as close to this story as anyone and has an update, to include the Rifqa Bary Trust Fund. The ORLANDO SENTINEL is also reporting on the story and unbelievably, the Ohio welfare officials are attempting to pave the way for the return of Rifqa but Florida Governor Charlie Crist is apparently getting inundated with correspondence demanding Bary stay in Florida:
Ohio child welfare officials have already concluded it's safe for Rifqa to return. They want to place the girl in therapy and reunite her with her family.

That, however, may not be the conclusion of Florida officials who have had to deal with a flood of e-mail and reaction from thousands of people, many of them including anti-Muslim sentiments, who say the runaway is a hero.

Gov. Charlie Crist has received more than 9,000 e-mails about the runaway, his office said.
Tell you what. If the evidence presented by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement indicates that the Noor Islamic Center has ties to Islamic terrorists or that there is good cause to suspect Bary's parents of what the girl alleges, the judge (Daniel Dawson) should strongly word in his decision that a grand jury should be called to investigate.

If Rifqa is found to be in danger and allowed to stay, wouldn't that be the next logical step?

VIDEO: CHARLIE CRIST IN TROUBLE

Yes, the video is extremely well done. Certainly, the music and the lighting go a long way in elevating Charlie Crist's 2010 Republican opponent, 38-year old Marco Rubio.

That said, don't overlook the strength of Rubio. He comes across as a very passionate and principled conservative who is concise and powerful in his speech. His message is resonating with people and as the conservative movement grows, so will he.

This video a must-see:

On another important note, I noticed that Rubio made a forceful statement about the Rifqa Bary case (17-year old girl who converted to Christianity and fled her Muslim parents - she is currently awaiting a judge's ruling on September 3rd). Here is Rubio's statement:
Miami, FL – U.S. Senate candidate and former Florida House Speaker Marco Rubio today issued the following statement regarding Rifqa Bary’s court case:

“America has a rich tradition of religious freedom that is enshrined in our
First Amendment. Today in Florida, this freedom could be at stake as a court considers the case of 17-year old Rifqa Bary.

“This young woman fled from Ohio to Florida, fearing she would be killed for converting from Islam to Christianity. As the court weighs the facts of this case, I hope it will take her expressed fears seriously and not rush to an irreversible decision that may ultimately endanger her.

“It is imperative that state officials use every legal tool at their disposal to properly evaluate Rifqa’s best interests. Florida has a responsibility not only to protect her innocent life but also to defend her sacred right to worship freely.”
Yes, Crist is the one in the hotseat on this case as the Governor and may choose his words more carefully but Rubio's statement may ultimately help Crist do that right thing if the judge does not.

UPDATE ON RIFQA BARY

On August 21st, a Florida judge ruled that Rifqa Bary, who converted to Christianity and fled her Muslim parents, would not have to be immediately returned to her parents. Bary is adamant that if she is returned to Columbus, OH she will be either killed or sent to an insane asylum in Sri Lanka.

The next important date for Rifqa is Thursday, September 3rd when there will be another hearing. Since the 21st, some very disturbing things about the mosque her parents attend have come to light.

WORLD NED DAILY is reporting on some claims made by Bary's Attorney, John Stemberger, that if true, should lead into an investigation over whether an American citizen is being prevented from exercising 1st Amendment rights.
According to exhibits submitted by the Department of Justice during a terrorism finance trial, the CEO of the Noor Center, Hany Saqr, has direct ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.

"The Muslim Brotherhood of North America is an international organization which was responsible for birthing every Islamic terror organization in the world, including al-Qaida," Stemberger said. "So, when you think about al-Qaida, you can think that the Muslim Brotherhood is responsible for al-Qaida's existence."
Allow me to digress for a moment as I think it's extremely important to put the Muslim Brotherhood in the proper context because one of its past leaders was a close ally of Adolf Hitler. AMIN AL-HUSSEINI (pictured with Hitler) appealed to the infamous Nazi leader in 1944 to go public with their alliance but Hitler wanted to wait until he took Moscow and opened the Caucasus Mountain ranges. That never happened and the weather had a lot to do with it. HERE IS A LINK to the alleged minutes of the meeting between al-Husseini and Hitler in 1944.

Now that we have strong evidence that the CEO of the Noor Islamic Center has ties to a group once led by an ally of Hitler, how about Saqr's subordinate having ties to Hamas?
Saqr's subordinate, Ismail Elbarasse, was one of the top Hamas operatives in the country and had provided at least $735,000 to Hamas at that time. Saqr was also listed as a high-ranking Muslim Brotherhood official in a 1992 phone directory recovered from the home of a Hamas operative.
Hamas has been designated a terrorist organization by the United States.

But wait! That's not all. How about an interesting connection between another Hamas operational leader, this Mosque, and Jeremiah Wright? Who on earth could that be?
Mousa Abu Marzook, another operational head of the Hamas terrorist organization that operated out of the U.S. placed numerous calls to Saqr's home.
So a Hamas leader placed multiple calls to the CEO of the Noor Islamic Center. How does that tie back to Jeremiah Wright? While tangentially connected, isn't interesting that Wright placed a TERROR MANIFESTO written by Marzook in the Trinity United Church of Christ Newsletter on July 22, 2007? HERE'S MORE on Marzook, who also hangs with another Hamas leader named Khaled Meshaal who was expelled from Jordan and now is in Syria.

How about another upstanding gentleman with ties to the Noor Islamic Center? Sulah Sultan has actually been banned from the United States:
Stemberger also noted that Salah Sultan, a former Islamic scholar associated with the Noor Center whose family household is located only one mile from the Bary family's mosque, has been photographed with leaders who have been designated terrorists by the U.S. government.

"Dr. Sultan has recently appeared on television inciting violence against Jews, and he has previously appeared at events in support of designated terrorist organizations while an active part of the Noor Center community," the memorandum states.

In a May 2006 appearance on the Al-Risala television network, the Middle East Media Research Institute revealed Sultan accused the U.S. government of playing a role in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks and attempting to wage war against Islam. He also praised al-Qaida cleric and Osama bin Laden mentor Abdul Majid al-Zindani – a U.S.-designated global terrorist who recruited for al-Qaida training camps.
I'd say there are plenty of red flags when it comes to the intentions of Bary's parents and / or the Mosque they attend.

Remember, September 3rd at 2:30pm ET, Rifqa Bary's fate is in the hands of a Judge and also Florida's Governor, Charlie Crist. Please contact Crist's office today.

Concerned individuals may e-mail Florida Gov. Charlie Crist, fill out a contact form, call his office at (850)488-4441 or (850)488-7146 or fax (850)487-0801.

The Florida Department of Children and Families may be reached by calling (850)487-1111 or fax (850)922-2993.

COLUMBUS DISPATCH REPORTER AND RADICAL MOSQUE

The Noor Islamic Cultural Center in Columbus, OH is the mosque attended by the parents of Fathima Rifqa Bary, who fled to Florida after converting to Christianity out of fear that she would be the victim of an honor killing at the hands of her father, Mohamad.

The fate of the 17-year old girl has yet to be determined. Until September 3rd (the date of the next hearing to determine her fate) a judge has ordered that she remain in foster care. Between now and then, Columbus is expected to find itself under a microscope of scrutiny.

The JAWA REPORT has some interesting facts about both that mosque and the reporter from the COLUMBUS DISPATCH that appears to be quite sympathetic to it. Dispatch reporter Meredith Heagney (Religion) is pictured in the photo wearing a hijab and ID card on her waist.

The local media (including the Columbus Dispatch) should be taking a hard look at the Noor Islamic Cultural Center as its one time resident scholar is a man named Sulah Sultan, who is a Hamas cleric and has since been banned from the United States. You can read more about Sultan at DISCOVER THE NETWORKS and this LIVE LEAK post.

Even more damning is this news report from Erick Stakelbeck two years ago.

With all of that to bolster Rifqa's claim that she is in danger of losing her life at the hands of her own parents and the Islamic community in Columbus, OH it becomes even more despicable when you consider that the Columbus Dispatch appears to be basically aiding and abetting the Noor Islamic Cultural Center in a dishonest and disingenuous propaganda campaign. Ultimately, if Rifqa is sent back to Columbus and murdered, the Dispatch and any reporters involved will have been a accomplices through their collective advocacy of Noor.

In fairness to Heagney, Jawa points out that she's not alone in this despicable and cowardly behavior. The Dispatch itself needs to be investigated. Heagney's employer actually held a seminar for Noor last November called (are you ready for this?), "LEARN TO COMMUNICATE WITH THE MEDIA".

You can email her at mheagney@dispatch.com but like the town halls, be firm while remaining professional and polite.

VIDEO: UPDATE ON TEEN CONVERT TO CHRISTIANITY

Fathima Rifqa Bary is a 17-year old cheerleader and honor student from Columbus, OH. She made news when she fled her Muslim parents who she claims threatened to kill her for converting to Christianity. After traveling by bus to Orlando, FL she met up with friends at the GLOBAL REVOLUTION CHURCH and sought protection.

On Friday, August 21st a judge who many expected to rule that Bary be returned to her family in Columbus, ruled instead that another hearing be scheduled for September 3rd. In the interim, Bary will be permitted to stay in Florida.

The ball is now in the court of the FLORIDA DEPT OF LAW ENFORCEMENT as their findings on the veracity of the teen's claims are expected to be given serious consideration by the judge.

Here is a video of Fathima Rifqa Bary explaining why she does not want to return to her parents. Be sure to read some interesting revelations about her father below the video.

It would appear that like the Congressional recess and Obama-care, the delay in the judge's ruling on Bary could be damaging to the party wanting swift action without investigation. In this case, that party would be Bary's parents.

Pamela Geller at ATLAS SHRUGS has been all over this story and has uncovered some potentially very damaging information about Mohamad Bary:
Mohamad Bary and his wife signed affidavits declaring themselves indigent, and that is why the Florida court appointed a lawyer for the father and a lawyer for the mother. Both their lawyers are being paid by the taxpayers of Florida. Worse still, Aysha and Mohamed Bary's lawyer asked the court for more money at the hearing on Friday, so that they could wage a campaign (depositions, legal docs, filings etc.).

The above is a copy of the Dunn and Bradstreet report of filed by Mohammad Bary for his business, Bary Gems. He states his business does $237,561 per annum. The wife, Aysha Bary, makes high-end bridal gowns (that income may be off the books, but she works every day). It would appear that she works for CUSTOM BRIDAL VEIL -- a company owned by Risana Bary. The same Risana Bary who works with Mohamad (Rifqa Bary's father) at Bary Gems.
It has been learned that Mohamad Bary has the support of CAIR.

What to watch for: If this story continues to play in the media and if the Florida Dept of Law Enforcement makes an honest effort to uncover the truth, Bary's parents may decide to back down. CAIR already HAS A HISTORY of doing this when the heat gets too hot.

Jerry Wilson at the HOUSTON EXAMINER, points out another interesting little factoid about Mohammad Bary (Fathima's father):
Bary's father legally dissolved his jewelry business on July 29 of this year. Given that the business was apparently quite successful, with nearly a quarter of a million dollars in annual sales, the question of why he took this action is raised. Geller speculates the reason may be so he could leave the country with family, including Fathima, in tow and return to his native Sri Lanka where there would be no American judicial or religious oversight.
