The notion that this man and the Democrats run honest campaigns is beyond laughable, which means it's beyond disingenuous for him to accuse his opponents of attempting to 'hijack democracy.' I think we're seeing why Mr. Obama had such a problem with the Supreme Court Ruling in Citizens United vs. FEC.
Here is clip #1 from Verum Serum
In clip #2, Obama takes the fear of a hijacked democracy and tells listeners what it will mean on Capitol Hill if Republicans win back the House and / or the Senate. I think it's a safe bet to say this Alinsky-ite is NOT going to moderate. If the Republicans take back the House, Darrell Issa (R-CA) will become chairman of the Oversight and Government Reform Committee and he has a buffet of potential investigations into this administration to choose from. My guess is that the New Black Panther Party case will be at or near the top of the list.
Kinda reminds me of this from June of 2008, via the WSJ:
Mobster wisdom tells us never to bring a knife to a gun fight. But what does political wisdom say about bringing a gun to a knife fight? While we're at it, let's not forget this one from September of 2008 (keep your eye on the guy in the background with his hat turned sideways as he chews on his girlfriend's hair):
That’s exactly what Barack Obama said he would do to counter Republican attacks “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun,” Obama said at a Philadelphia fundraiser Friday night. “Because from what I understand folks in Philly like a good brawl. I’ve seen Eagles fans.”
