Kuhner: The Black Klan

Jeffrey Kuhner is pulling no punches in his latest piece. Comparing the New Black Panther Party (NBPP) to the KKK is a bold move but Kuhner goes there. Read his article at the Washington Times and see if you can reach a different conclusion.
Black supremacy is on the march. It is a poison that is spreading across our society, meeting little to no resistance. This must change. Otherwise, America will confront the real prospect of racial conflict.

The New Black Panthers are the tip of the spear. They champion black supremacy, hatred of whites, and militant Islam. They are the black version of the Ku Klux Klan — bigoted thugs who practice vigilantism and mob rule. They placed a $10,000 bounty for the capture of George Zimmerman — “dead or alive” — for the killing of Trayvon Martin, a 17-year-old black teenager. Their actions threaten the rule of law. Placing bounties on people’s heads is an invitation to lawlessness and murder. It has no place in a civilized society.

Recently, on their radio show. the New Black Panthers called for a race war. In an April 6 broadcast, Chawn Kweli, the party’s national spokesman, said that “true revolution means some bloodshed.” In particular, he championed the racial cleansing of American whites.

“And there are those who wish they could stand in this hour, to see the destruction of the devil’s world and the devil’s society …” Mr. Kweli said. “I’m talking about that blond-haired, blue-eyed, sometimes brown-eyed Caucasian walking around with a mind-set, a demonistic mind-set, and a nature to do evil and brutality.”

On that same broadcast, the Panthers’ chief of staff, Michelle Williams, demanded that blood be spilled for Trayvon’s shooting. “Let me tell you, the things that’s about to happen, to these honkeys, these crackers, these pigs, these pink people, these ---- people,” she said in an interview. “It has been long overdue.”
Notice how Kuhner makes reference to militant Islam being something that the NBPP champions. No one has enslaved blacks over the centuries more than Islamists. Isn't it curious that the NBPP is aiding them?

Zimmerman family member's letter to Eric Holder

In the wake of the Trayvon Martin shooting, the New Black Panther Party (NBPP) has done its level best to incite a race war while placing a bounty on the head of George Zimmerman. In a sane world, this is a felony. It's also something else; it's the second time that Eric Holder's Justice Department has turned a blind eye to the criminal behavior of the NBPP. The first time was on election day in 2008, when King Samir Shabazz and Jerry Jackson stood outside of a polling station in military garb, intimidating voters; Shabazz was wielding a night stick.

The DOJ's refusal to arrest or even comment on the egregious actions of NBPP members in Florida raises very serious concerns about Holder's allegiances. A member of the Zimmerman family has officially called the Attorney General out on the issue in the form of a letter to Holder.

Via the Daily Caller:
In a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder on Monday, obtained exclusively by The Daily Caller, a family member of George Zimmerman asked the nation’s top law enforcement officer why he has chosen to not arrest members of the New Black Panther Party for their rhetoric — some of which may fit the federal government’s definition of a hate crime — throughout the Trayvon Martin case.

The family member believes the reason Holder hasn’t made those arrests is because he, like the members of the New Black Panther Party, is black.

“I am writing you to ask you why, when the law of the land is crystal clear, is your office not arresting the New Black Panthers for hate crimes?” the family member wrote to Holder.

“The Zimmerman family is in hiding because of the threats that have been made against us, yet the DOJ has maintained an eerie silence on this matter. These threats are very public. If you haven’t been paying attention just do a Google search and you will find plenty. Since when can a group of people in the United States put a bounty on someone’s head, circulate Wanted posters publicly, and still be walking the streets?”
I ask what seems to me at least, to be a logical question: Where is the most powerful Republican Party member who is in office today, John Boehner?

Here is the entire letter to Holder. Apparently, a private citizen who is related to Zimmerman, has more courage than the Speaker of the House, who should have been the one to write this letter and post it to his website.

Despicable.

DOJ on New Black Panther Party's Commission of likely Felonies: No comment

No incident has dogged the Obama administration longer than the New Black Panther Party (NBPP) voting rights case, which occurred on election day in 2008 when Jerry Jackson and King Samir Shabazz stood outside a polling station in military garb. Approximately one and half years later, Attorney General Eric Holder sat in front of a congressional committee and defended his Department's decision not to pursue the case while referring to blacks as "my people."

Before we get to his latest problem with the NBPP, check out this exchange from last year:

Pre-disposed to protect the New Black Panther Party? You betcha!

According to J. Christian Adams, once a federal attorney who resigned from the DOJ over the latter's handling of the aforementioned case, the solicitation of unlawful kidnapping in the state of Florida is a felony. Nonetheless, that's exactly what the New Black Panther Party has done in the case of George Zimmerman and there doesn't appear to be an explanation as to why the DOJ isn't pursuing the NBPP other than they're being Holder's "people."

Via Washington Times:
The U.S. Department of Justice had no comment on the $10,000 bounty the New Black Panther Party (NBPP) was offering for a "citizen's arrest" of George Zimmerman, the 28 year old man who told Sanford, Florida Police he shot and killed 17 year old Trayvon Martin on February 26 in an act of self-defense.

According to a number of reports, the NBPP  "called for the mobilization of 10,000 black men" to do the "arrest." Zimmerman and his family have received death threats since the case became a national issue. Mr. Zimmerman has not been arrested by local authorities. Federal, state, and local investigations of the shooting are happening, and he is currently in hiding.
No comment? On felonies happening right now? Can someone please tell me where John Boehner is? Like it or not, he is the most powerful Republican in the country today and he is practically invisible on every egregious development involving the Obama administration. It's like a fire marshall who goes into hiding when the alarm goes off.

Video: Is Eric Holder turning a blind eye to Felonies based on race?

Two questions. Is the bounty that the New Black Panther Party (NBPP) has placed on the head of George Zimmerman a crime? If so, is Attorney General Eric Holder going to do anything about it? According to former Justice Department Attorney, J. Christian Adams, the answer to the first question is not only, "yes" but it's also a felony in Florida. As for the second question, if the handling of the 2008 voter intimidation case is any indication, Holder's DOJ will probably do nothing.

Spike Lee wants a Lynching; tweets George Zimmerman's address

The racially-focused Spike Lee has decided to play a hand in any possible effort to lynch George Zimmerman by re-tweeting the address of the man accused of killing Trayvon Martin. Despite the fact that a new witness to the incident has come forward to provide contradictory evidence to the narrative accepted by the likes of Lee and the New Black Panther Party (NBPP), the film director could end up with blood on his hands if a race riot results from the misuse of his celebrity.

h/t Weasel Zippers and Breitbart for the twitchy string.

Here is video of Mikhail Muhammad of the New Black Panther Party (NBPP) in what looks like Zimmerman's neighborhood, on Saturday, March 24th. Note that he is offering a reward for Zimmerman's capture and threatens to do what the police will not.

We all know this is political. To deny that is to exhibit a degree of naivete that is pre-pubescent. One of the things the Democrats are overlooking here is that while George Zimmerman has a caucasian's last  name, he is hispanic. If the account of the witness mentioned above proves to be correct or if harm comes to Zimmerman as a result of all this, a certain ethnic group the Democrats are trying to win over could turn on them in a hurry.

One other thing to note in this video. Muhammad accuses whites of killing black children. Uh, Muhammad, would you mind qualifying that by saying it's white Democrats who do that? They're the ones who support Planned Parenthood, which slaughters millions of black babies. Yet, you're siding with Democrats like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson?! No wonder these people are so unhinged. The level of cognitive dissonance inside their skulls is too much for any human being to handle without spouting off like this.

Video: Fox Affiliate in Tampa interviews Zimmerman Attorney

Interesting interview with the attorney for George Zimmerman, Craig Sonner. Notice toward the end what Sonner says in response to a question about whether the shooting was racially motivated. Also discussed in this interview is a New Black Panther Party (NBPP) poster that's being widely distributed. It says, "Wanted Dead or Alive" and features a photo of Zimmerman. More on that after Fox interview with Sonner.

Via Fox Tampa:

Here is video of New Black Panther Party (NBPP) leader, Mikhail Muhummud, leading a press conference in which he called for the firing of the local police chief and said that Zimmerman should be in fear for his life. Take note too that Muhummud also announced that NBPP national leader, Malik Zulu Shabazz will be making his way down to Florida as well.

Attorney General Eric Holder Plays the Race Card

The man who boasts that he's not the tall Attorney General but the black Attorney General has apparently taken the stance that he has become a lightning rod because he's black. As the way Holder's Justice Department handled the New Black Panther Party (NBPP) voting case illustrates, many of the problems people have with Holder are rooted in race but not because of his but because of an alleged racial bias on the part of his department.

Via New York Times:
For nearly three years, Republicans have attacked Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. on national security and civil rights issues. For months, they have criticized him over a gun-trafficking investigation gone awry, with dozens of leaders calling for his resignation. Last week, more than 75 members of Congress co-sponsored a House resolution expressing “no confidence” in his leadership.
The intensifying heat on Mr. Holder comes as the Justice Department is stepping into some of the most politically divisive social issues of the day, including accusing an Arizona sheriff known for his crackdowns on illegal immigrants of racial profiling, scrutinizing new restrictions on voting in search of signs that they could lower turnout among minorities and telling judges that a law banning federal recognition of same-sex marriages is unconstitutional.
As Mr. Holder’s third year as attorney general draws to a close, no member of President Obama’s cabinet has drawn more partisan criticism. In an interview last week, Mr. Holder said he had no intention of resigning before the administration’s term was up, although he said he had made no decision about whether he would continue after 2012 should the president win re-election.
“I think that what I’m doing is right,” Mr. Holder said. “And election-year politics, which intensifies everything, is not going to drive me off that course.”
With F.B.I. agents standing guard outside his hotel room on Tuesday, Mr. Holder spoke hours before delivering a speech at the Lyndon B. Johnson presidential library here that criticized the largely Republican-led efforts to put new restrictions on voting in the name of fighting fraud. At that moment, protesters were rallying outside the library, some in support of stricter voter identification laws and others holding signs urging Mr. Holder to resign over the disputed gun-trafficking investigation, known as Operation Fast and Furious. Several dozen jeered when his motorcade arrived.
In the interview, Mr. Holder offered a glimpse of how he viewed the criticism. He said he thought some critics — like Senator Lindsey Graham, a South Carolina Republican who favors allowing the military to handle terrorism suspects over the criminal justice system — are expressing “good faith” arguments about their policy disagreements.
But Mr. Holder contended that many of his other critics — not only elected Republicans but also a broader universe of conservative commentators and bloggers — were instead playing “Washington gotcha” games, portraying them as frequently “conflating things, conveniently leaving some stuff out, construing things to make it seem not quite what it was” to paint him and other department figures in the worst possible light.
Of that group of critics, Mr. Holder said he believed that a few — the “more extreme segment” — were motivated by animus against Mr. Obama and that he served as a stand-in for him. “This is a way to get at the president because of the way I can be identified with him,” he said, “both due to the nature of our relationship and, you know, the fact that we’re both African-American.”
Meanwhile, the ATF, an agency under Holder's purview, engaged in a gun-walking program it knew would result in the deaths of hundreds of Mexicans so - as ATF supervisor David Voth said - someone could 'make an omelette' by 'scrambl(ing) some eggs.'

As we're learning, the eggs appear to have been innocent Mexican citizens and the omelette was gun control.

If that is indeed proven, the statement made by Holder that he and Obama are both disliked because they are "African-American" will let you eat the hypocrisy with a knife and fork.

Shocker: Barack Obama Marched with New Black Panther Party in 2007

Looks like Andrew Breitbart has dropped another bombshell. In 2007, then candidate Barack Obama marched with members of the New Black Panther Party (NBPP), the same group that was inexplicably let off the hook after intimidating voters at a Philadelphia polling station on election day, 2008. This unequivocal show of solidarity removes the benefit of plausible deniability for Obama. As the mainstream media hammers the Republican nominees for allegedly booing a gay soldier at the last debate - Obama has been chiming in as well - that same media is likely to do all it can to ignore this display of solidarity with a racist organization.

Via Big Government:
New photographs obtained exclusively by BigGovernment.com reveal that Barack Obama appeared and marched with members of the New Black Panther Party as he campaigned for president in Selma, Alabama in March 2007.

The photographs, captured from a Flickr photo-sharing account before it was scrubbed, are the latest evidence of the mainstream media’s failure to examine Obama’s extremist ties and radical roots.

In addition, the new images raise questions about the possible motives of the Obama administration in its infamous decision to drop the prosecution of the Panthers for voter intimidation.

The images, presented below, also renew doubts about the transparency of the White House’s guest logs–in particular, whether Panther National Chief Malik Zulu Shabazz is the same “Malik Shabazz” listed among the Obama administration’s early visitors.
This kind of eliminates the argument that it was a different Malik Zulu Shabazz who visited the White House. Don't forget King Samir Shabazz either; he shouted in a bullhorn on a busy street in 2009 that black people need to kill whites and their babies.

Of course, who can forget Obama jumping to conclusions about the Cambridge police acting 'stupidly' in arresting his friend Henry Louis Gates? That little factoid is interesting in light of what we learned about NBPP's Minister of War:
Among those appearing with Obama was Shabazz, the Panther leader who was one of the defendants in the voter intimidation case that Attorney General Eric Holder dismissed. Also present was the Panthers’ “Minister of War,” Najee Muhammed, who had called for murdering Dekalb County, Georgia, police officers with AK-47’s and then mocking their widows in this video (7:20 – 8:29).

Injustice (new book by J. Christian Adams) includes a disturbing photo of Shabazz and the Panthers marching behind Obama with raised fists in the “Black Power” salute.

There are even more photographs.

I have learned that Regnery initially received approval from a person who took pictures of the events in Selma to publish these additional photographs in Injustice.

After the photographer wrote Regnery reversing his permission to include the photographs in Injustice, the images were removed from the photographer’s Flickr account. Yet we were able to capture them before they disappeared.

The photographs show Obama sharing the same podium at the event with the Panthers.
J. Christian Adams, the attorney who resigned in order to talk to the media about what went on within the DOJ, has released a new book and addresses these issues as well.

Latest Farrakhan / Shabazz Montage: Blame White Man for Bombing of Libya

It is simply amazing how blinded by racism these people are. Nation of Islam Leader Louis Farrakhan, New Black Panther Party Leader Malik Zulu Shabazz, former congresswoman Cynthia McKinney (D) and others are more than just a little unhappy with Barack Obama's decision to remove Muammar Gadhafi from power. However, they - especially Farrakhan - don't seem much interested in blaming Obama for it. Apparently, the real problem is that the 'white people' have magically 'turned' Obama into one of them.

Malcolm X was killed by members of the Nation of Islam because after making the pilgrimage to Mecca, he left the Nation of Islam for the Sunni / Muslim Brotherhood brand of Islam. What is so incredibly lost on the likes of Farrakhan and Shabazz is that if anyone has 'turned' Obama, it's been the Muslim Brotherhood. They have significant power throughout our highest levels of government and it is they - aside from RINOs like McCain, Graham, and Pawlenty - who want Farrakhan removed.

If Farrakhan and Shabazz would put down their race-colored glasses, they'd be able to see that most conservatives agree with them, that we should not be in Libya but their blind hatred for the white man simply will not let them see it.

Farrakhan Continues Defending Gadhafi, Railing on Obama

If there is anyone the Obama administration has angered most over its attacks on Libya, it's Louis Farrakhan and New Black Panther Party leader Malik Zulu Shabazz. Both see Farrakhan as someone who supports whatever larger agenda they may have. They clearly view Obama's actions there as some sort of betrayal and neither man is happy about it. Farrakhan fired the first salvo on a radio interview last month and is at it again.

Via Chicago Breaking News:
Warning that destruction could be on America's doorstep because it oppresses “God's chosen people,” Minister Louis Farrakhan, the controversial Nation of Islam leader, defended Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi today, calling the U.S. action in Libya hypocrisy.

Speaking from the pulpit of Chicago's Mosque Maryam, the Nation of Islam's international headquarters, purchased 40 years ago with a $3 million loan from Gadhafi, Farrakhan blamed demons for altering President Barack Obama's moral conscience and driving the assault on Gadhafi, who he calls a brother.
An old and reliable adage goes something like this:
Follow the money.
Gadhafi has been a gravy train for Farrakhan for years and the Obama administration dries a little bit more of it up with each missile strike. Interestingly, however, while Farrakhan is angry with Obama, he still finds some way to blame the Jews. It's really quite fascinating:
Farrakhan cautioned Obama that he was being used as a pawn to oppress his own people in Africa. He insisted several times that Jews controlled the media and pressured Obama to take so-called humanitarian action in Libya, but not in other places such as the Gaza Strip.

“The stupid mistake we make is assuming the president is the supreme power,” Farrakhan said. “The mad dogs are growling and grinding in Washington, D.C.,” referring to one of Gadhafi's nicknames, “Mad Dog of the Middle East.”
This is what we call a flawed paradigm boys and girls. The notion that Obama is being controlled by the Jews is one for the ages. Lost on Farrakhan is that if anyone has influence on Obama, it's the Muslim Brotherhood, which is greatly supporting the rebels. The truth is that Farrakhan and Shabazz have a dream for Africa that includes Gadhafi's continued support. By removing Gadhafi from power, Barack Obama - via the Jews of course - will be responsible for shattering that dream.

Department of Justice Opens Door for Congressional Investigation into Black Panther Case

The case of voter intimidation courtesy of the New Black Panther Party (NBPP) on election day, 2008 has dogged the Obama administration ever since. One of the reasons given by the Department of Justice as to why it couldn't respond to document requests made by then ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, Rep. Frank Wolf (R) was that there was an ongoing investigation within the DOJ itself.

Specifically, the DOJ pointed to the investigation being done by its internal Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR). That investigation is now over and J. Christian Adams - the voting rights section attorney who retired last year - is calling them on it.

Via Pajamas Media:
DOJ concludes that DOJ did nothing wrong. DOJ used the OPR investigation to avoid providing information to outside investigators on September 9, 2009. Again, on November 16, 2009, the Department of Justice told the Civil Rights Commission that it couldn’t be forthcoming with information until the OPR report was finished. It used a similar tactic to avoid congressional scrutiny.

Now that the OPR report is done, it’s time for the Department to cough up the information to the House Judiciary Committee and to Congressman Frank Wolf. Wolf has also asked for a long list of information which was never provided because of the OPR investigation, or at least that’s what DOJ said was the reason.
Adams goes on to list all of the things that Wolf, now the committee Chairman, should ask for. Read the list HERE.

I find the timing of the OPR investigation results mildly noteworthy because they were released at about the same time Louis Farrakhan and NBPP leader Malik Zulu Shabazz have been railing on Obama over the administration's policy on Libya.

HERE is the story about the DOJ investigation results.

Video: New Black Panther Party Leader Echoes Farrakhan's anti-Obama Sentiment, Uses 'N' Word Repeatedly

This is no way to pay back the Obama Administration for dismissing the 2008 voter intimidation charges. The leader of the New Black Panther Party (NBPP), Malik Zulu Shabazz has now officially joined the likes of Louis Farrakhan, who railed on the Obama administration for opposing Gadhafi. Last week, Farrakhan rhetorically asked Obama, 'who the hell do you think you are?'

Now Shabazz has been caught going on an 'N' word / 'Uncle Tom' rant against the administration. Via The Blaze:

Racial Politics at the DOJ: Loretta King Profile

You can get an idea of how truly controversial the New Black Panther Party voting rights case is when you consider it began on the day of Barack Obama's election in 2008. So many news events have come and gone since then. Yet, that case never quite goes away. Anyone who argues that racial politics wasn't involved is simply in denial or pushing an agenda. We even saw sworn testimony from a Voting rights section attorney that resigned in order to do as well as his boss, who had been re-assigned to prevent him from testifying. J. Christian Adams and Christopher Coates both testified and one person that came off looking extremely race-based was Assistant Attorney General, Loretta King.

As if the NBPP case wasn't controversial enough for the Justice Department, a recent mandate handed down from the Department to the City of Dayton stirred the racial pot some more.

Via the Daily Caller:
Neck-deep in the more divisive civil rights cases of the past several years — most notably the New Black Panther voter intimidation case and the recent Dayton, Ohio police department’s testing standards issue — the Obama appointed assistant attorney general has many wondering whether her guide is the law or racial politics.

“Some of the most outlandish policies of the Holder Justice Department over the last two years flow directly from Loretta King’s worldview,” J. Christian Adams, who worked with King while serving as a voting rights attorney at the Justice Department, told The Daily Caller.

According to Adams, race-based decision making has been a consistent staple of King’s actions and resume.

In testimony before the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights about the New Black Panther case, former DOJ Voting Rights Section chief Christopher Coates explained that King ordered him to stop asking trial attorney applicants whether they would have a problem dealing with cases involving white victims.

“In the spring of 2009, Ms. King, who had by then been appointed Acting AAG [assistant attorney general] for Civil Rights by the Obama Administration, called me to her office and specifically instructed me that I was not to ask any other applicants whether they would be willing to, in effect, race-neutrally enforce the VRA [Voting Rights Act],” he testified. “Ms. King took offense that I was asking such a question of job applicants and directed me not to ask it because she does not support equal enforcement of the provisions of the VRA.”
Additionally, King is currently leading an effort in New York that ignores a recent Supreme Court decision:
In New York, King is currently the lead attorney in an effort to disregard low test scores to allow more minority candidates to become firefighters. The effort, as some have pointed out, disregards the 2009 New Haven firefighter case, Ricci v. DeStefano. In that case, the Supreme Court ruled that objective test results could not be thrown out merely to meet a desired racial outcome.
Though far too early to tell, if Loretta King becomes the face that represents racial politics in the DOJ, it's at least theoretically possible she may find herself under the Obama bus one day, especially in light of the consistent attention being paid to a Justice Department that is so fixated on race.

Eric Holder's DOMA Problem

This is my biggest problem with Eric Holder's argument for not defending the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) on grounds that it isn't Constitutional. The argument that DOMA is unconstitutional is an extremely valid one; the argument that the definition of marriage should be left to the states is an extremely valid one. At its essence, that is the argument made by Holder and Obama. The problem is it is beyond disingenuous for this administration to seize the mantle of the Constitution in any of its arguments.

For example, just this week, Eric Holder said that prosecuting the Black Panthers case 'demeans' his 'people' because it apparently pales in comparison to what blacks have suffered in the past. There's a problem with that and it's the Fifteenth Amendment, which says the following:
The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any state on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude.
Tack onto that the fact that despite video evidence that Planned Parenthood was enabling the furtherance of underage sex trafficking, Holder announced that he will not prosecute despite the group being federally funded.

Via TPM:
Attorney General Eric Holder said Tuesday that the FBI has declined to prosecute in connection with a series of incidents where a man entered Planned Parenthood and claimed to be a pimp operating a sex trafficking ring. Those incidents were later revealed to be part of a video "sting" by the anti-abortion group LiveAction.

"It is my understanding that the FBI actually has looked at that matter" and "prosecution was declined in that matter," Holder's commented in a hearing of the House Appropriations subcommittee.
So the Department of Justice will not investigate crimes against children perpetrated by an organization that receives federal funds and it will not enforce the Fifteenth Amendment but it will argue that DOMA is unconstitutional.

Disgraceful.

Eric Holder's Shocking Statement on Black Panthers Case

It's a scandal that started on election day, 2008 and it is still percolating with a rolling boil. It is also potentially the most overtly egregious case or racism at the highest levels of government. Two Department of Justice Attorneys defied orders not to comply with subpoenas to testify in front of the civil rights commission - one had to resign before doing so. The testimony under oath of those two attorneys - J. Christian Adams and Christopher Coates - called into question the testimony of Associate Attorney General Thomas Perez who quite possibly lied under oath.

Now we have Attorney General Eric Holder making an extremely bizarre and telling statement at a House Appropriations subcommittee hearing about how he views the entire episode. It is clearly a controversy he wish would go away because of all the scandals involving this administration, this one seems to have multiple smoking guns.

VIa POLITICO:
The Attorney General seemed to take personal offense at a comment Culberson read in which former Democratic activist Bartle Bull called the incident the most serious act of voter intimidation he had witnessed in his career.

"Think about that," Holder said. "When you compare what people endured in the South in the 60s to try to get the right to vote for African Americans, and to compare what people were subjected to there to what happened in Philadelphia—which was inappropriate, certainly that…to describe it in those terms I think does a great disservice to people who put their lives on the line, who risked all, for my people," said Holder, who is black.

Holder noted that his late sister-in-law, Vivian Malone Jones, helped integrate the University of Alabama.

"To compare that kind of courage, that kind of action, and to say that the Black Panther incident wrong thought it might be somehow is greater in magnitude or is of greater concern to us, historically, I think just flies in the face of history and the facts.," Holder said with evident exasperation.
This would seem to indicate that Adams and Coates were telling the truth. The problem here is that the testimony of those attorneys necessarily pointed to the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice directing employees not to bring voting rights cases against minority defendants. That is exactly what happened with the New Black Panther Party (NBPP) and Holder's argument seems to be that what the NBPP did was wrong, it just wasn't wrong enough.

That's simply ridiculous and indicates bias that should force Holder to resign.

BLACK PANTHER CASE: HOLDER RECEIVES LETTER FROM NEW JUDICIARY CHAIRMAN

Of all the burgeoning scandals that are expected to be exposed to sunlight courtesy of Republican majorities in the House, the New Black Panther Party (NBPP) voting rights case is potentially the most explosive. It didn't take long for new House Judiciary Committee chairman, Lamar Smith (R-TX) to issue his first letter to Attorney General Eric Holder on the matter either. In it, Holder is given a deadline of January 21st to respond with some answers. In the first two years of the Obama administration, Holder has stonewalled any and all real inquiry into the case. If Smith is serious, Holder will not be able to do that anymore.

Via Washington Post:
…he (Smith) notes that in the New Black Panther Party case investigation, it came to light that a political appointee, Julie Fernandes, directed Justice Department attorneys "not to bring cases against black defendants for the benefit of white victims."

Smith then details allegations by former Justice Department attorney J. Christian Adams that the department declined to enforce the National Voter Registration Act and its provisions relating to "voter integrity."

After reciting the evidence concerning Fernandes's statements and her expressed hostility toward enforcing the NVRA, Smith concludes, "Allegations that the Civil Rights Division has engaged in a practice of race-biased enforcement of voting rights law must be investigated by the Committee." He then gives Holder until January 21 to respond to a list of questions, including whether Fernandes did, in fact, "explicitly or implicitly direct Voting Section staff not to enforce any section of any federal rights statute" or "not to enforce Section 8 of the National Voter Registration Act." He demands all documents that relate to the department's enforcement practices under the Voting Rights Act.
In a recent New York Times article, Holder is quoted as saying there's no 'there' there.

It appears there is enough 'there' there to warrant a letter from the new Judiciary committee chairman demanding that Holder prove it. Until now, he has not.

VIDEO: DARRELL ISSA TALKS OBAMA ADMINISTRATION INVESTIGATIONS

There have been multiple scandals in the last two years that were ignored by multiple committee chairmen, who were all Democrats. Now that all of the House Committees are going to see Republican Chairman, we can expect - even demand - that the incoming committee leadership investigate waste, fraud, and abuse inside the Obama administration. Here, Darrell Issa, who will head the House Oversight Committee on Government Reform says he could investigate '600' scandals but has to 'leverage' his resources in deciding which ones to go after.

He's already said he will not investigate the Joe Sestak case, in which the Democrat nominee for Senate was offered a job in the administration to drop out of the race. He then explains that the Black Panther voting rights case is likely to fall to the House Judiciary Committee, which will be led by Rep. Lamar Smith (R-TX). He also indicated that the Pigford case will be investigated. Rep. Steve King (R-IA) is a prominent member on both the Agriculture and Judiciary committees; Pigford relates to both as it is about fraudulent payouts to more black farmers than exist.

Issa interestingly points out that in leveraging his resources the committees are going to see crossover and are expected to work with each other. The important thing is that any hearings and investigations which take place be legitimate and not for show. The American people are watching very closely.

ERIC HOLDER DISMISSES MERITS OF BLACK PANTHER VOTING RIGHTS CASE

As the balance of power shifts in congress, the two men who will head the committees that will be most responsible for investigating the Black Panther voting rights case are Lamar Smith (R-TX), who will head up the House Judiciary Committee and Darrell Issa (R-CA), who will lead the House Oversight Committee on Government Reform. Of the two, Issa has been arguably the most outspoken when it comes to the way the Black Panther voting rights case was handled and it will be interesting to see if rhetoric when not in power matches action when in power.

The New York Times quotes Holder himself on the matter and he doesn't seem to be that concerned:
“We’ve already seen this administration dismiss one case against a political ally — the New Black Panther Party — for no apparent reason,” Mr. Issa and Mr. Smith wrote. “We remain concerned that politicization at the Justice Department once again may result in the administration’s political friends getting a free pass.”

Asked about the prospect of oversight hearings and subpoenas involving the New Black Panther case, Mr. Holder said, “there is no ‘there’ there.”

“The notion that this made-up controversy leads to a belief that this Justice Department is not color-blind in enforcement of civil rights laws is simply not supported by the facts,” he said. “All I have on my side with regard to that is the facts and the law.”
There's plenty 'there' there. As for the premise put forth by Issa and Smith, to argue that the New Black Panther Party (NBPP) is not a political ally of this administration is laughable. Forget the voting rights case for a moment. How about the recent recording of former Green Jobs Czar Van Jones and NBPP leader on December 20th talking about how Jones, who was responsible for distributing $40 Billion of the $787 Billion stimulus package? There is AUDIO of Shabazz talking about having some of that money.

As for answering to Smith and Issa about how the NBPP voting rights case was handled, Holder is dismissing any accusations that it was mishandled. I find it mildly disturbing that he and Smith seem to be a little to chummy. There is a leadership vacuum the Tea Party expects to be filled by Issa and Smith and they better fill it because they're being watched very carefully.

VIDEO: VAN JONES ON GIVING STIMULUS DOLLARS TO BLACK PANTHERS

Remember that $787 Billion stimulus bill in 2009? Van Jones was responsible for distributing $40 Billion of it. On December 20th, he discussed how he (re-) distributed it to inner city minorities. I like the part about making sure that the 'work and the wealth' are easily distributed.' Also making appearance in this clip is New Black Panther Party (NBPP) leader Malik Zulu Shabazz, who discusses how his group has 'Green jobs' available and no background checks are necessary.

Shabazz exhibits in-your-face racism when he talks about having 'jobs for black men' and bemoans just having to 'deal with white folks.'

The left is apparently ok with racism as long as it comes from the right source.

AUDIO: NEW BLACK PANTHER LEADER DISCUSSES HIS MEETING WITH AHMADINEJAD

Not sure of the date posted at the front of this Audio clip but the New York Post wrote about the meeting between Ahmadinejad, Louis Farrakhan, and Malik Zulu Shabazz back in September when the Iranian dictator was in New York. This audio, recorded in December is an account given by Shabazz about the discussions that took place in that meeting, which included overthrowing the United States government. Isn't it reassuring to know that Shabazz was one of the ones let off the hook in the voting rights lawsuit out of Philadelphia and that he was actually plotting America's demise with the 'A man from Iran' just this month?
