Wake Up, Marco! Your Gang of Eight Buddy speaking to Che Guevara supporters

'Gang of Eight' member, Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) attended a 'May Day' rally in Chicago. During that rally, he spoke to a crowd that had clearly identified itself as being filled with communists. In fact, as Durbin was speaking, there was a rather large Che Guevara flag being waved from about the tenth row; there is no way that Durbin didn't see it. Though, when asked by a reporter from Breitbart, he attempted to laugh off as ridiculous, any notion that there were communists or socialists in the audience.

Little more than two weeks ago, Rubio made the Sunday talk show circuit and was asked about Jay-Z's trip to Cuba. Rubio pointed out that one of Jay-Z's heroes is Che Guevara. The Senator from Florida then pointed out that Guevara was a racist and a murderer.

It's not just that Durbin spoke at a rally that had a Guevara flag. It's that the movement he was speaking to - and attempted to defend when it became obvious he couldn't deny - was communist and that support for Che Guevara in that crowd was pervasive.

Rubio understands communism and he knows the history of Cuba better than most Americans. Marco himself is quite educated on the subject as well. He often talks of his close childhood relationship with his grandfather, who couldn't stand Castro.

His alliance with Durbin on anything was misplaced and ill-advised. For starters, communists lie so when someone like Durbin attempts to deny he spoke to communists and then defended the act because it was his only play at that point, it's right to ask if he'd be lying if he says he isn't a communist sympathizer.

Back in January, I wrote that Rubio's first mistake with the 'gang of 8' was engaging with members of that group at all; aligning with Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) on anything was a mistake. The optics of Rubio yucking it up with these guys would not do him any favors. Nonetheless - and for whatever reason - he thought he could get something done by working with them. Conservatives knew better.

Since joining the Gang of Eight, Rubio has had a lot of trouble selling it. In the end, the only thing he might have to show for it is this:

As an aside, here is another instance of Durbin-style denial on May Day. Only in this instance, the person in denial is a local NBC News reporter in New York City. If you've ever found yourself scratching your head about why the mainstream media doesn't cover what's blatantly obvious, here is the perfect microcosm for you.

This woman's responses are worse than Durbin's. When asked about Communist flags at the event she's covering, she pretends they don't exist despite the fact that they're waving all around her.

It is amazing what the liberal mind will deny in the interest of ideology. This has got to be a form of mental illness on display.

It. Has. Got. To. Be.

Christopher Dorner Supporters afflicted with Che Guevara Glorification Syndrome

Do you remember back in 2009, when China's Mao was all the rage? The Obamautomatons loved the comparisons. How about Che Guevara? T-shirts and hats were all the rage too. So were / are images of Fidel Castro. The left loves these heartless, cold-blooded killers. Let's also not forget the push to have cop killer Mumia Abu Jamal released from prison. Add Christopher Dorner to the list.

As the multi-murderer was holed up in a cabin, twitter was ablaze with Dorner-supporters, obviously a sick strain of the same phenomenon.

Before human remains were found in the cabin, Dorner had more support from the twitter-verse. Check out some of these beauties, via twitchy.

This song goes out to all of you sick Christopher Dorner supporters; you're all struck with Che Guevara Glorification Syndrome (CGGS):

Video: Statement from Invisible Children CEO about Kony 2012 Producer's Naked Meltown

Ok, I'm still trying to figure out how an "exhausted" and "dehydrated" man remedies those problems by running through the streets of San Diego, naked with the midday sun beating down on him, but I digress. Kony 2012 producer Jason Russell did all of that and was shockingly not even arrested for the behavior.

The video message at the bottom of this post, from Invisible Children CEO Ben Keesey, attempts to shed additional light on the reasons for Russell's outburst while assuring viewers that the Kony 2012 campaign has not ended.

Keesey starts out by saying that "these last two weeks have been.. really tough." That's a bit ironic considering what the victims shown in the Kony 2012 video have gone through; he probably should have left that part out. Nonetheless, the position from Keesey is that Invisible Children was hoping to get a half a million sets of eyeballs to watch their video and that they weren't prepared for what they got - 100 Million. He then points to all of that attention bearing down on Russell, who didn't know how to handle it. His way of doing so was apparently to call even more attention to himself by running naked through the streets of San Diego. I'm sorry, I'm having a tough time buying this.

These guys are well-intentioned but they have no clue what they're dealing with. Joseph Kony - the guy they're after - is a Muslim Brotherhood pawn. Until they're able to see the bigger picture, they could do far more harm than good. They've already set out to make Joseph Kony famous by selling merchandise that bears his likeness. This too is dangerous because it very well could lead to the Che Guevara effect, where people like Carlos Santana wear t-shirts that make a mass murderer iconic.

Mr. Keesey, instead of blindly pressing forward, perhaps you should take Russell's behavior as a sign that you're in over your heads, however well-intentioned you may be.

Disgraceful: Mercedes Uses Che Guevara to Promote Vehicles

Those who make the charge that the push for green technology in the name of preventing climate change have a hidden and very nefarious agenda just had their case bolstered by an unlikely source - Mercedes Benz. Hitler was an environmentalist and the German car maker Mercedes Benz is using an image of Che Guevara - with a Mercedes logo on his beret - to promote car pooling to help save the environment.

Via CBS News:
"Some colleagues still think that car-sharing borders on communism," Mercedes-Benz Chairman of the Board of Management Dieter Zetsche said onstage at CES today, speaking about Mercedes' new CarTogether initiative. "But if that's the case, viva la revolucion!"

To be sure, a luxury-car maker like Mercedes is not actually promoting communism. But during his CES talk, Zetsche pushed hard on a vision that the company has for a greener future that allows drivers to reduce emissions by using connected and social technology to easily find compatible passengers to share rides with.

Still, it's odd--and no doubt intended to stir up conversation--to hear a company so inexorably tied to money and lavish lifestyles invoking philosophies like communism. Especially with a picture of Cuban revolutionary Che Guevara towering over Zetsche as he talked. Of course, Che's signature beret sported a Mercedes logo.
It's a crime in Germany to deny the holocaust. It's apparently a-ok for one of that country's best known car makers to use a Hitler wannabe to sell cars.

Truly insane times.

No, I mean truly insane times.

Video: Senior Hillary Clinton Advisor Compares Arab Spring's Reliance on Internet to Che Guevara

You really cannot make this stuff up. Alec Ross is Hillary Clinton's senior advisor and while he was speaking in London recently, he lauded the success of the 'Arab Spring' by saying one of the reasons it's been so successful is that there are no real leaders anyone can negotiate with or point to. Ross said that other than Wael Ghonim, there really are no recognized names of people who are at the forefront of the uprisings in the Middle East. Lost on Ross is that Ghonim - Google's regional manager in North Africa at the time of Egypt's uprising - was pushed off the stage by Muslim Brotherhood leader Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi after Mubarak fell.

Via The Guardian, Ross not only puts forth some absurd theories about the 'Arab Spring' but actually lauds it by pointing to the Marxist murderer Che Guevara. Fast forward to the 6:00 mark if pressed for time.

Via The Guardian:
Hillary Clinton's senior adviser for innovation at the US state department has lauded the way the internet has become "the Che Guevara of the 21st century" in the Arab Spring uprisings.

Speaking at the Guardian's Activate summit in London on Wednesday, Alec Ross said "dictatorships are now more vulnerable than ever" as disaffected citizens organise influential protest movements on Facebook and Twitter.

The US has pledged to back the pro-democracy movements that have swept the Middle East and north Africa since January. Ross welcomed the "redistribution of power" from autocratic regimes to individuals, describing the internet as "wildly disruptive" during the protests in Egypt and Tunisia.

"Dictatorships are now more vulnerable than they have ever been before, in part – but not entirely – because of the devolution of power from the nation state to the individual," he said.

"One thesis statement I want to emphasise is how networks disrupt the exercise of power. They devolve power from the nation state – from governments and large institutions – to individuals and small institutions. The overarching pattern is the redistribution of power from governments and large institutions to people and small institutions."
This is either willful or blind ignorance on the part of Ross. Whether knowingly or not, he is running interference for the Muslim Brotherhood while championing Che Guevara.

Another Reason to De-Fund PBS: Che Guevara

Yet another reason to defund all public broadcasting can be found in the efforts of Agustin Blazquez. He is a Cuban exile who has been trying to get the truth out about men like Che Guevara. Guevara's image is everywhere. He's held up as a revolutionary hero. Lies about who he really was are repeated over and over again. In truth, Guevara was a racist and a cold-blooded killer of innocent people. Blazquez made a documentary about Guevara on a shoe-string budget and did most of the work himself. However, he did so only after trying to get the help of PBS.

Via Pajamas Media:
He learned that grants and prizes for documentaries in his series “Covering Cuba” would not be forthcoming. The latest, and seventh, titled Che: The Other Side of an Icon, was produced on a budget of $14,000. Only about $4,000 of that was from a non-profit that he had started himself. He had submitted a more typical budget of $494,000 to CPB-PBS (Corporation for Public Broadcasting, Public Broadcasting System). Blazquez had no success with the publicly supported organization, nor did he with the taxpayer-supported American Film Institute in his other projects. In fact, he could not even get an airing on POV (Point of View), the program created by PBS specifically for the purpose of airing “controversial” films.

Still, Blazquez, by changing his approach and scaling back, and doing his own editing on his own equipment, has managed to produce a compelling film that demolishes the radical heartthrob’s reputation as a brave guerrilla fighting on behalf of the oppressed.
When one contrasts that reality with the success of another film that glorified Guevara, it becomes painfully obvious that propaganda and a denial of truth is in more demand.
Nevertheless, the narrative put out in a press release by the AFI for the 2008 film by Steven Soderbergh simply titled Che, describes Che “galvanizing poor peasants into a military force that can take on trained professionals.” The same AFI turned down Blazquez’s third film on Elian Gonzalez, the young Cuban refugee who was forcibly sent back to Cuba under President Clinton after his mother had drowned during their escape.

Contrary to AFI’s depiction, Che’s delight was in shooting 240 defenseless victims, some as young as 15. Political prisoners say the real number is much higher. Che also delighted in having people and their children rounded up off the street and forced to watch executions.
Meanwhile, Democrats are bemoaning Republican attempts to defund Public Broadcasting and they're using puppets as props in doing so. If the Republicans were smart, they'd point to things like this. One man tries to use public dollars to tell the truth about a racist, cold-blooded killer and is repeatedly denied. Yet, another film that portrays Guevara as a man of the people who fought against oppression is successful.

VIDEO: YOU DON'T KNOW CHE

An antidote for those infected with liberal whack job leftwing entertainment. I've never heard of Steve Pichan before but I like him. In this video, Pichan challenges the segment of the left that outwardly reveres Che Guevara, who is inexplicably glorified in the form of Hollywood movies, t-shirts, and other disturbingly shocking ways. The man was a cold blooded killer, a racist, and would-be tyrant.

More about Che here.

Pichan calls out those who revere Guevara in this very well done song put to video.

LEFTWING LIES AND DENIAL PERSONIFIED IN CHE GUEVARA

Apple Computer has not only decided to boycott the Glenn Beck show but the entire network he works for. Conversely, they have decided to market at least one of their products - the iPhone - by featuring quotes from an infamous racist, hate-filled, murdering, marxist, who wanted to take down America. That's right. Glenn Beck is shunned as a pariah by Apple as Che Guevara is embraced and extolled as a virtuous historical figure.

Humberto Fontova at Big Journalism points out that, in true leftwing fashion, inconvenient facts are always avoided if they get in the way of an agenda. In this case, it's the Guevara quotes that fly in the face of the liberal paradigms that are missing from the iPhone.

Here are a couple of quotes attributed to Guevara that one will not find in the iPhone. Via Fontova:
The Negro is indolent and spends his money on frivolities and booze, whereas the European is forward-looking, organized and intelligent.

My nostrils dilate while savoring the acrid odor of gunpowder and blood… Crazy with fury I will stain my rifle red while slaughtering any surrendered enemy that falls in my hands! With the deaths of my enemies I prepare my being for the sacred fight and join the triumphant proletariat with a bestial howl!
The left continues to lower the bar on itself. Each time it does, its staunchest advocates seem to get angrier. As they get angrier, they continue to project their own faults onto their opponents with ever increasing absurdity.
