The situation in Michigan is beginning to dominate the news cycle. The State House is in the process of approving right-to-work legislation and the unions are not happy. Of course, what do thugs on the left do when they're not happy? Well, they curse and assault people. First up is this video of Steven Crowder getting physically attacked by union members who can't overcome their own cognitive dissonance.
We may be watching the 2011 Union debate in Wisconsin ratcheted up a notch in Michigan in 2013.

Important Video: Dearborn Police stand down as Muslim Mob Assaults Christians
The surrender of Dearborn, MI to Islam is all but complete. This may be one of the most important videos in a long, long time. Background: A group of Christians showed up at the annual 2012 Arab Festival, holding signs and wearing t-shirts to communicate their message.
There are many things to take note of as you watch. First, the mob assaults the Christians with debris (rocks, bottles, crates, etc.). Second, the police do nothing to stop it. The video opens with one officer telling one of the Christians that use of a bullhorn is prohibited by a city ordinance. Then, after 30 minutes of massive assault, one officer tells a Christian he's putting his own safety in danger because the cops have so much territory to cover. Note the response of the Christian male; he tells the officer that violence will be wherever their signs are. Having no response, the cop turns and walks away.
There are only two explanations for the behavior of these police officers. Either they are sympathetic to the Muslim cause or they are suffering from displacement.

Video: Romney, Michigan's Trees, and Two Cars
At a campaign stop in Detroit, in Romney's home state, the former Massachusetts Governor went a bit overboard in his attempt at ingratiating himself with Michiganders. If you find yourself inclined to stop watching after Romney speaks glowingly of the trees in Michigan all being "the right height," don't (though I still can't figure out where he was going with that, the closest I can come is an obscure Goldilocks metaphor, but I digress).
Romney then muses aloud about all of the American made cars he and his wife have owned and then, while going down the list, said that his wife "drives two Cadillacs."
Does she drive them both at once, Mitt? Doesn't make much sense for a candidate who is already fighting the 1% Wall Street corporate elitist label, does it?
Folks, Obama so desperately wants this man to be the nominee, it's not even up for debate but for some reason, the establishment continues to push him on American voters.

Video: Protesters at Lowe's
Here's a news report about protesters in front of Home Improvement giant, Lowe's, from WJBK Fox News in Detroit. In particular, I enjoyed the guy wearing the Auxiliary Police hat likening what Lowe's is doing to what Nazis did to the Jews in WWII.
The irony is that an imam featured prominently in the show supports a group (Hezbollah) that would like to do the same thing to the Jews that Hitler attempted to do.

TLC's All American Muslim Terrorist Problem
This story continues to unfold. The Learning Channel's program, 'All American Muslim' is supposed to be an accurate portrayal of Muslims in America. An Imam named Husham Alhusayni, who appears prominently in the television show, is a pro-Hezbollah, terrorist-supporting, anti-Semite who has no business being portrayed as a moderate.
This should be a very big deal.
All American Muslim's Shockingly Un-American Imam
Walid Shoebat and Ben Barrack
Lowe's Home Improvement has found itself at the center of controversy for pulling its advertising from a program called All American Muslim that airs on The Learning Channel (TLC). There is now iron clad proof that if Lowe's had continued its sponsorship, a terrorist-supporting imam would be given a platform with the help of those dollars.
Husham Alhusayni is not just the imam of the Karbala Center in Dearborn, MI. He is also featured in All American Muslim. In the program, Alhusayni presides over marriages within Muslim families.
Alhusayni is a signatory to the Jerusalem Document of 2009. This document refers to the war on Zionism as a war between “good and evil.” Zionism is considered an “aggression” which is infecting “the entire human race.” Muslims are told to “get ready for the holy Jihad” and “continue in the path of Hezbollah,” which is “essential for the Iraqi community living in the Diaspora.”
The document also refers to the “Israeli rape of Jerusalem that was pre-planned by the cursed Basel Conference in 1897.” The Conference took place in Basel, Switzerland and is recognized as the place where the Zionist platform and the World Zionist Organization were created.
The Jerusalem Document goes on to encourage Muslims everywhere to support and align with the goals of Hezbollah in Lebanon. The goals of this organization includes the extermination of Israel.
When speaking to Arabic audiences, the unvarnished Alhusayni is revealed.
In a very telling moment, a YouTube video (9:24 mark) captures Alhusayni talking about “criminals” while appearing to make the point that evil exists in “every nationality” and then speaks broadly about the Jews:
“In America, there is Timothy McVeigh... he's evil. Jeffrey Dahmer... he cut the heads off of children and put it in the refrigerator... he's a criminal. Saddam, he's a criminal, killing innocent people. So are so many Zionists in Palestine, killing innocent people.”
Note the distinction here. This is a direct comparison between a mass murderer, a serial killer, a vicioius tyrant and a large number of unnamed Jews. This is the essence of racism. After all, doublespeak artists live by double standards.
When the Florida Family Association successfully pressured Lowe's Home Improvement to pull its advertising from All American Muslim, a California state senator and the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) charged that the association was engaging in religious bigotry. These are serious charges that appear to be rooted in projection on the part of the accusers.
In a radio interview with conservative talk show host Sean Hannity in 2007, Alhusayni repeatedly refused to denounce Hamas and Hezbollah, both of which are designated terrorist organizations that seek the extermination of the Jews. Is this not an advocacy for terrorism based on religious bigotry?
On November 10, 2009 Alhusayni hosted a soccer game between Al-Tadamun and Chelsea on “The Day of Jerusalem.” Following the game, Samir Al-Jabiri and Muhammad Alhasayni thanked the imam and said the victory was “dedicated to honor the souls of the martyrs of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa...” according to an article on the Arab American website. The “martyrs” referred to in this case are clearly terrorists who sought the murder of Jews.
Deceptively, the dress code of Muslim women in All American Muslim is not an accurate portrayal of what religious Muslim women are required to wear. The Muslim women of Husham Alhusayni's mosque must wear a true Hijab, an all black cloak that covers the entire body, save for a small portion of the face – a far cry from the decorative attire that appears on the television show. Photos taken inside the Karbala Center as westerners are being converted clearly demonstrate this.
Alhusayni's role in the television show, coupled with how he runs his mosque, is blatantly inconsistent. Which is the true portrayal of American Muslims? Shouldn't viewers be exposed to that actual portrayal, regardless of what it might be?
For example, an annual occurrence inside Dearborn's Karbala Center is self-flagellation or repetitive whipping of oneself; it can be seen in the videos below. This self-inflicted abuse is done to memorialize the killing of the Prophet Muhammad's grandson, Imam Hussein by the Sunni Muslims. Shouldn't these experiences, if part of the American Muslim experience be included in a program intended to convey that experience?
Why isn't this shown on All American Muslim? After all, the leader of this mosque is featured on the program.
As Nadia Mahdeed from AlSharq Al-Awsat (Middle East News) entered the Karbala Center to interview Alhusayni, she was struck by how many people approached her for not adhering to the dress code:
“I was not wearing a black sheet that women who came to prayer are supposed to wear.”
Mahdeed then relayed what she was told by worshippers:
“The people who came to pray all told me that they have no trust in America. I am amazed since they all enjoyed living in it.”
When she interviewed Alhusayni, she said to him:
“Your followers insisted I mention to you that they hate Saddam Hussein but that they also have no trust in America.”
Alhusayni, a master of political rhetoric, cleverly replied without disagreeing:
“Not many of us trust in the American policy.”
As if underscoring the reality that Alhusayni only wanted to convey a peaceful perception while seeming to support something else entirely, the conflict between the two was not lost on Mahdeed:
“Despite his gracefulness, when I walked out of there, my mind was charged with the slogans of war, not the tranquility of peace that is supposed to exist inside such a place.”
Clearly, TLC's program is intended to portray the Muslim experience as a peaceful one. Yet, a reporter left the mosque of one of the program's featured imams, struck by hateful rhetoric inside what should one of its most peaceful places.
Is this not a disconnect advertisers like Lowe's should reject?More HERE and HERE.
This should be a very big deal.

Video: CAIR has Problem with Coloring Book Depicting 9/11 Attackers as Muslims
This news report comes from ABC's Detroit affiliate, WXYZ and demonstrates clearly that the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) wants Americans to forget who attacked us on 9/11. A company named Really Big Coloring Books published a coloring book that depicted what happened on 9/11. It is for kids ages 5 and up. In it, the attackers are depicted as - are you ready for this - Muslim Jihadists. Predictably, CAIR has a problem, as you'll see in the news report. One other thing to take note of is the reaction of one of the anchors at the end of the report. She seems to agree with CAIR, which makes her a candidate for dhimmitude.
Meanwhile, the publisher of the coloring book - Wayne Bell - made a video in which he explains what he was doing. CLICK HERE to purchase your copy of the coloring book.

Video: Shocking Reality in Dearborn, MI - Religious Discrimination
In perhaps the most densely populated Muslim community in the United States - Dearbron, MI - a Lebanese Christian man is being discriminated against solely because of his religion. Watch the video as this man explains how he has to daily fight off people who attack him because he is a Christian. He's denied consideration for employment because he's not Muslim. What this man is experiencing is just a hint of what's going on in Pakistan today, where Pakistani Christians are being persecuted, jailed, tortured, and murdered under that country's blasphemy laws.
Try as they might, the left demonizes the Christian right incessantly; it accuses us of being racist toward people who don't share our beliefs and/or faith.
Proof positive that the left is attacking the wrong side. Isn't the ACLU's silence deafening?

Videos: Rabid Mob Attempts to Attack Terry Jones in Dearborn, MI
Last week, Florida Pastor Terry Jones was in Dearbornistan, MI to protest in front of a mosque. A quick trial was called and it was not only ruled that he could not conduct that protest but that he couldn't go anywhere near the mosque for three years. One week later, Jones was in Dearborn to protest in front of City Hall. His group was easily outnumbered by counter-protesters. The only things separating the two were barricades and four lanes of traffic. The counter-protesters broke through the barricades and crossed all four lanes, ostensibly to do physical harm. The only thing stopping them were riot police.

DEARBORN, Mich. -- Florida pastor Terry Jones was outside Dearborn's City Hall for his planned 5 p.m. protest, drawing a crowd of hundreds. There are several videos available at Click On Detroit. Here is an on-the-ground news report - with shots from above via helicopter - as the barricades fell. Take note as the reporter speaks of a few local Muslim leaders who were helping police discourage counter-protester behavior. Make no mistake, that is not because they agree with Jones or even because they necessarily agree with his right to speak. Instead, they understand optics and knew the counter-protesters' behavior was bad for business.
"We're glad to be back," he told reporters. "We're going to talk about a number of issues. Of course Sharia, jihad, what happened last week and we're even going to be talking about president Obama's reelection."
Counter-protesters lined Michigan Avenue across the street from City Hall. About an hour into the protest, the crowds broke the barricades and a police line. They rushed the street but were quickly contained by riot police crews.
The crowd was throwing water bottles and shoes at supporters of Jones. Police worked to push the crowd back across Michigan Avenue.
At least one arrest was made.

Videos: Jury Denies Florida Pastor First Amendment Rights
Regardless of one's feelings about Florida pastor Terry Jones, this is an extremely dangerous precedent. On April 22nd, Jones was in Dearborn, MI to protest outside a Mosque there. A trial was quickly called - amazing how speedy trials are possible when certain people want them - to determine if he should be allowed to hold the protest. The jury ruled that he could not. Why? Because it might cause locals to riot. Denying one's free speech rights based on what others might do is targeting the wrong individual - and it's very dangerous.
A theme the jury seemed to focus on was that the location Terry Jones chose for his protest was not acceptable. That argument immediately conjures up images of the Ground Zero mosque protests. That was all about location too. Except, those who protested were labeled by the Muslim community as 'intolerant.' There was also no court order that said the Mosque couldn't be built there. In fact, the city cleared the way for its construction. When a small pastor wants to protest outside a Mosque in Michigan, he's the intolerant one? The lack of consistency here is palpable.
If there is any good to come out of this, it should be that some of those involved in paving the way for this ridiculous ruling could conceivably wake up and realize how utterly absurd the ruling is. What happened in Dearborn, MI last week was a victory for the Islamists. Period. It was a victory for creeping Shariah law and proof that Sharia law cannot coexist with the United States Constitution.
Verum Serum has two videos that tell the story. The first is a news report from the local Fox affiliate. The second is an interview with one of the dhimmi jurors.
It's amazing what people will say and believe in order to rationalize cowardice.

Video: Fox's Eric Bolling vs. Union Supporting Mayor
Eric Bolling was the guest host for a soon-to-be departing Glenn Beck and this interview helped him if he's got his eye on Beck's time slot. This was a nice fiery exchange between Bolling and the mayor of Lansing, MI Virg Bernero. Bernero is a union-supporting Democrat who could not deny that his city is under water when it comes to public sector union salaries vs. revenue. In a bottom line world, that's really all there is to say - unless your name is Virg Bernero. In yet another example of liberal illogic, he blamed companies for taking the jobs away and shipping them overseas.
Obviously lost on Bernero is the reason why those companies did that - UNIONS. Then, when Bolling asked Bernero how he's going to deal with the shortfall, good ol Virg made reference to increasing the mileage rates. That means raising property taxes. It's literally an insane option. The property values in Michigan have plummeted. Why? Because companies have left the area, making it depressed. So, why on earth would you raise property taxes? In Bernero's world, people will not move out of the area if he raises their property taxes. Good luck with that, Virg.
Democrats are simply ignorant of economics; pride and arrogance simply will not allow them to admit it. One day, reality will force them to admit it and that day is upon us.

Honor Killings Being Covered Up in Dearborn, MI?
This all started in 2010, when four members of a Christian group in Dearborn, MI were arrested for attempting to convert young Muslims to Christianity at the International Arab Festival. The men caught the attention of eight police officers within seconds and spent the night in jail after being led away in handcuffs. Those men have since filed a lawsuit against the City of Dearborn, its Mayor, its Police Chief, and multiple police officers.
There is a much bigger update to the story, however. Apparently, some of the police officers are sympathetic to the plaintiffs and have a problem with what's going on in their Department. Officers wishing to remain unidentified have alleged that Islamic 'honor killings' have taken place in the city and have been covered up. If this can be proven, Mayor John. B. O'Reilly and Police Chief Ronald Haddad will have a much larger problem on their hands.

O'Reilly and Police Chief Ronald Haddad will have a much larger problem on their hands.
Via WND:
Officials in the offices of both O'Reilly and Haddad said they were unable to respond to questions about the case, which seeks a court order halting the city's practices regarding speech and distribution of literature on public property at the city's Arab Fest during the summers.Once again, Edmund Burke's credo that 'Evil can only succeed when good men do nothing' is proven correct. If there are good police officers who are aware that their superiors have either condoned or are complicit in 'honor killings' and don't speak up, the behavior will continue. If they do speak up - as what appears to be the case here - this could become a much bigger story.
It also seeks compensatory and punitive damages from the defendants.
The allegation about the honor killings that have been "overlooked" in Dearborn comes on Page 61 of the 96-page complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan today.
Describing the circumstances under which police officers arrested the Christians and ordered them to spend a night in jail rather than view readily available exculpatory evidence that ultimately cleared them of the charges, the complaint notes that during the booking of the Christians at the city jail, "a sympathetic city police officer told plaintiffs Qureshi and Rezkalla that some of the police officers were 'on their side,' 'agreed with what they were doing' and 'didn't think they did anything wrong,' or words to that effect."
The comments simply were "demonstrating further that defendants retaliated against plaintiffs for their religious speech activity," the complaint explains.
"The sympathetic police officer told plaintiffs that the security personnel hired for the Arab Festival were mostly 'criminals and gang members,'" the complaint explained. Then it continued:
"The sympathetic police officer told plaintiffs that there were instances in the city where 'honor killings' permitted by Shariah had taken place, but they were covered up," the complaint alleges.
