Just when you think the liberal media has lowered the bar of bias as far as it possibly can, someone finds a new rock bottom. In this instance, Face the Nation's Bob Schieffer has seized the mantle. Last week, Herman Cain's campaign released an ad that struck most as truly bizarre; it featured his campaign manager, Mark Brock, who ended the ad with a drag from his cigarette. The reaction of most people was a bit of head-scratching. Then something happened. The ad pulled a million views in four days and Cain's campaign contributions went up as a direct result. To call the ad counter-intuitive would be an understatement.
The aforementioned reality appeared to truly bother Bob Schieffer, who questioned Cain about the ad. In a bit of childish, righteous indignation, Schieffer masked his contempt for the success of the ad behind some holier-than-thou disgust for Cain's camp featuring such an image. After all, he's running for president and such an ad should be beneath him.
Cain handled himself well but a knockout punch would have been - as NewsBuster commenter Don'tFeedtheTrolls said - our current president smokes. Using Schieffer's standard, Obama is doing something that is beneath the office while Cain isn't even a smoker.
This is disgraceful on the part of Schieffer. Via NewsBusters:

Video: Occupy Oakland Protester Admits Objects Hurled at Police
While being interviewed by Marxist MSNBC host, Lawrence O'Donnell, an Occupy Oakland protester singlehandedly blows the left wing narrative out of the water. That narrative is that police are brutalizing OWS protesters unnecessarily; the protesters are simply innocent victims of repression who are having their first amendment rights trampled. Lost on far too many people is that they are not law-abiding. When police tell law-abiding people to clear an area, law-abiding people do that. In this case, O'Donnell asks someone not entirely brushed up on all of the talking points, if protesters have been throwing objects at police. To the Obama administration's certain chagrin, she admits that they were.
Also, take note at the beginning of this clip, as MSNBC is running B-roll. Note the person in a wheelchair being pushed through the streets by a protester with a bandana over his face as the situation appears to be deteriorating. Why would a person in a wheelchair be smack dab in the middle of a violent situation? Uh, could it be so that any injury could be exploited like the one sustained by anti-war military veteran Scott Olsen?
Lawlessness is being championed. There's no other way to say it.

John McCain's 'Heroes' Plant al-Qaeda Flag atop Benghazi, Libya Courthouse
File this in the 'that didn't take long' department. Perhaps the only thing more inexplicable than an al-Qaeda flag being planted atop the Benghazi, Libya courthouse are the words of Senator John McCain earlier this year as he visited Benghazi. While talking with al-Jazeera, McCain referred to the Libyan rebels who would eventually sodomize Moammar Gadhafi with a stick as his 'heroes.' McCain would later walk down the street where his 'heroes' had beheaded a man for allegedly being black. It is shocking that members of the American public who have jobs and supposedly don't have time to keep up with world events, knew McCain was wrong and either completely ignorant or disingenuous when he did these things.
Salute your heroes, Mr. McCain.
From Vice, Via Daily Caller:
Again, this 'Arab Spring' is about the Muslim Brotherhood - of which al-Qaeda is a part - taking control of middle eastern countries and erasing their borders so that they may all role up under a resurrected Ottoman Empire in Turkey. Yes, US and NATO forces have been doing the bidding of Turkey's Islamist government while the latter just sits back and watches John McCain call al-Qaeda his 'heroes.'
Doesn't get any more disturbing than that, does it?
More on McCain's visit in April HERE.

If there were questions about al-Qaida’s role in post-Gadhafi Libya, VICE reporter Sherif Elhelwa provides some answers in a new story with eyewitness descriptions. If McCain didn't know this would happen, he's incompetent. If he did know it would happen, he's something worse. In either case, he is not fit to serve in the US Congress.
Al-Qaida flags, Elhelwa reports, are popping up around Benghazi. At the city courthouse, which played a prominent role in the Libyan revolution, residents are flying the late terrorist’s Osama bin Laden’s colors.
Similarly, Elhelwa recounts a regular evening sight: “Islamists driving brand-new SUVs and waving the black al Qaeda flag drive the city’s streets at night.”

Video: Obama Doubles Down on his Support for Lawless OWS Protesters
If you use the sheer number of arrests as your standard, the Occupy Wall Street bunch is far more lawless than the Tea Party has ever come close to being. OWS started just this month and the number of arrests are rapidly approaching 3,000. The Tea Party came into being in April of 2009. The Obama administration - to include Barack himself - has demonized the Tea Party at every turn. Conversely, Obama has expressed support for the OWS miscreants. As the incidents of criminal behavior at these protests continues to rise, the president appears to be going all in when it comes to his continued support for the group. We already know he doesn't like cops much (think Henry Louis Gates) so why wouldn't he support lawless thuggery attempted to make police look bad. Still, it is amazing to watch him blatantly side with this bunch.
Check out his weekly address posted on October 29th. He uses the language of the protesters and really does little more than throw gas on the fire with this rhetoric.

President Barack Obama and Occupy Wall Street are speaking the same language. Here's the video if you can stomach it:
In his weekly address to the nation, Obama cited an economic report showing that the middle class has lost ground to “the top one percent.”
“The average income for the top one percent of Americans has risen almost seven times faster than the income of the average middle class family,” he said. “And this has happened during a period where the cost of everything from health care to college has skyrocketed.”

Occupy Denver: White Protester Hogtied by Black Cop; Racism?
Occupy Denver appears to be the latest flashpoint for the occupy miscreants to act up. Amazingly, much of the video being recorded and posted comes courtesy of other protesters. In their lame attempts to garner sympathy by demonstrating excessive force on the part of police, they actually end up helping to make the case for law enforcement. Case in point: in this first video, a protester who apparently thinks it's cool to expose his own butt crack, attempts to push a black police officer off of the latter's motorcycle (1:23 mark). The cop then chases the guy, takes him down, and cuffs him. Whoever thought this video would leave one supporting the protester has a skewed view of reality.
h/t Weasel Zippers:
There also seems to be something else lost on anyone either supporting or not challenging the Occupy movement. Specifically, the protesters' complete lack of respect for the law. If police go into an area to disperse a crowd or tell people to leave an area, law-abiding citizens will do that. These protesters are deliberately attempting to provoke police while creating a perception that they are being repressed by them. Nothing illustrates this reality better than the guy in this video at the :30 mark. Watch the man in the plaid shirt make several attempts to push his way in toward police. One officer - rightfully so - pushes the guy back several times. The man is obviously trying to come across as a victim and fails miserably.
Again, whoever posted this video hoping to paint cops as the aggressors and protesters as defenseless victims actually did just the opposite.

Is Obama Administration Behind the Shameless Apology from Liberal Oakland Mayor?
Liberal mayor of Oakland Jean Quan (D) has apparently gotten her mind right. Late last week, her office issued a statement to protesters that said protests would not be allowed between the hours of 10pm - 6am. A few days later, police enforced that directive rather successfully. Mayor Quan then had the police stand down and allowed the protesters to 're-occupy' Oakland. Now, in the wake of the injury to Scott Olsen (the anti-Semitic, Marine-hating, Marine-veteran, IVAW member), Quan has apparently decided it's time to apologize and grovel to the protesters.
Is it time to ask if this groveling is the result of pressure from the Obama administration?
Remember, Oakland is the old stomping ground of former Obama appointee Van Jones, who is basically the force behind this movement. Though Jones resigned as Green Jobs czar back in 2009, he has been with Center for American Progress ever since, so he is still an integral part of the crafting of Obama administration policy directives. The CAP was identified by TIME Magazine as Obama's 'Idea Factory' and the Wall Street Journal reported that the administration took its cues from CAP when it came to the Deepwater Horizon oil spill back in 2010. Also, let us not forget that Obama's closest adviser - Valerie Jarrett - lauded the Jones' hiring in 2009 and even made reference to all the work he'd done in Oakland:
How about Rep. Barbara Lee (D), the congresswoman whose district includes Oakland? In addition to being a registered member with the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) caucus, she has a rather interesting history with Van Jones that includes a mutual connection to the Committee of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism (CCDS) according to 2009 article by Cliff Kincaid at Accuracy in Media. Kincaid also posted a portion of Lee's statement relative to the Jones appointment to the Obama administration:
It was just this past September 29th that Jones warned everyone to 'hold on to your seats' because October was going to be America's equivalent to the Arab Spring. Apparently, in an effort to make that statement as literal as possible, one of the people behind Egypt's tech revolution - Ahmed Maher - was brought in as an adviser to Occupy Wall Street. He was even interviewed by Think Progress, which is basically the same organization at which Jones is a fellow (CAP). Jones is apparently even exploiting children for advantage. He tweeted an alleged witness account that rubber bullets were being fired at her while she walked a little girl away from the scene. Jones did not name this person and it smacks of a shameless attempt at exploitation of an incident based on hearsay, at best. This does nothing but enflame a volatile situation. Curiously, this is a tactic used consistently by Palestinians against Israelis. Anyone remember the case of Muhammad al-Dura, the boy whose death in 2000, was staged to make the Israelis look like villains?
Anyway, on Thursday, October 27th, Oakland mayor Jean Quan informed the public that the protesters would be allowed to re-occupy the city and on Friday, she doubled down by groveling to the protesters and issuing this shameless apology.
Question: What are the odds that Ms. Quan's mind was made right by Obama administration apparatchiks?

About that Injured Marine Veteran at Occupy Oakland
It never ceases to amaze how the left will attempt to exploit any situation to its advantage and when its apparatchiks really think they have something, they will beat on it until there's nothing left but horse bones. Invariably, however, the opportunity they thought was perfect for exploitation ends up becoming more of a liability. Take the Gabrielle Giffords shooting, for example. The left seized upon the fact that she was a Democrat. Therefore, the right had to be responsible. As the details came available, it was clearly demonstrated that if Jared Loughner was political at all, he was more a creature of the left; he listed the Communist manifesto and Mein Kampf as two of his favorite books.
Enter the latest left wing attempt at incident exploitation. On October 25th, Iraq War veteran Scott Olsen was critically injured at the Occupy Oakland protests. The left seized upon the notion that because Olsen was a war veteran, the right was comprised of hypocrites who have no respect for military veterans who don't share their ideology.
Not so fast. For starters, Verum Serum has learned that Olsen is the founder of a website called IHateTheMarineCorps.com which is a forum that allows people to express their unchecked hatred for the Marines. VS also posted what is more than likely Olsen's comment at the Yahoo Answers site:
Now, check out this video from MoxNews. Police apparently reporting that it's just as likely Olsen was hit by a projectile hurled by a protester as it was by any police officer.
Conspicuously absent from the reporting is that when police move into an area to disperse crowds, law-abiding citizens in that crowd LEAVE. If police are responsible for this injury, they are NOT responsible for Olsen's refusal to leave the area before putting himself in a position where he might get hurt.
The left better seriously re-think its alignment with Olsen. Then again, it will likely continue to exploit this incident for as long as it can, regardless of the truth.

The Marine Corps thrives on its image. They convince young men and women that they’re joining a professional military organization. But that’s not the case at all, every Marine knows it, and most have no problem downplaying the bullshit to outsiders so they can protect their “beloved corps”. I noticed some of the other posters have told you not to pay any attention to my site because we’re just a bunch of ********* who couldn’t hack it, right? Maybe not hacking it means we saw through the bullshit and don’t want to take it. Maybe the brainwashing didn’t work on us. I’m not here to tell you if you should join or not. I’m here to advise you to take the people who visit my website just as seriously as anybody who tries to sell you the MC as a good thing.Interestingly, Olsen is also a member of the Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW). You might remember that none other than would-be Fort Hood jihadist Pfc. Nasser Abdo, expressed support for and received support from IVAW. This from Raw Story:
My site is anonymous, these people don’t have to worry about hiding from the MC, or protecting the MC’s image or anything. It is unfiltered truth.
Source(s):
Former Marine, owner of http://www.ihatethemarinecorps.com
IVAW, similarly, admitted to Raw Story that they also worked with Abdo, but a spokesperson who asked not to be named said they absolutely condemn his alleged actions.I'd say it's quite obvious that Olsen despises the Marines and supports a group that expressed solidarity with a jihadist who had the murder of Americans on his mind. Also, like Abdo, Olsen appears to be anti-Semitic. Check this post out via Gateway Pundit.
“We have worked with him in the past, but he was not ever a member of this organization,” the spokesperson said. “We have had three interactions with him in the past: We supported his application as a conscientious objector; we publicized a statement by him condemning Islamophobia; and finally, he lended his support to our ‘Operation Recovery’ campaign last Veteran’s Day. Besides that, we do not have a concrete link with him.

OWS Street Kitchen Freeloaders Protest having to Serve Freeloaders
One would think, at some point, the OWS drones would start understanding a few realities after being slapped in the face with life lessons like this one, which are multi-layered. In a nutshell, OWS has been operating a 'Street Kitchen' in Zuccotti Park. Those who serve food to others are actually working. However, they began to feel taken advantage of when homeless, opportunist vagrants started getting in line for their share of sustenance. So what did the staff decide was the best course of action for dealing with the problem? Well, they decided to serve much less desirous grub.... to everyone.
Via New York Post:
In addition to the face-slapping hypocrisy, the street kitchen staff appears to be unable - at least at this point - to extrapolate its sentiment to the federal government. If OWS has its way, won't the system collapse, which will require the government to have to take care of a wider swath of freeloaders? Won't the government eventually get angry at what it perceives as 'freeloaders' who don't deserve to receive any of the largesse because they're not contributing?
This is good too:

Via New York Post:
The Occupy Wall Street volunteer kitchen staff launched a “counter” revolution yesterday -- because they’re angry about working 18-hour days to provide food for “professional homeless” people and ex-cons masquerading as protesters. So 'freeloaders' are getting frustrated with those they view as 'freeloaders' and are taking action against such people by punishing everyone. I thought one of the main tenets of the OWS movement was that everyone would be treated the same; no one would go hungry.
For three days beginning tomorrow, the cooks will serve only brown rice and other spartan grub instead of the usual menu of organic chicken and vegetables, spaghetti bolognese, and roasted beet and sheep’s-milk-cheese salad.
They will also provide directions to local soup kitchens for the vagrants, criminals and other freeloaders who have been descending on Zuccotti Park in increasing numbers every day.

This is good too:
Some protesters threatened that the high-end meals could be cut off completely if the vagrants and criminals don’t disperse. That's got to be a first. Freeloaders feeling under appreciated by other freeloaders and the solution is that the under appreciated freeloaders stop working.
Unhappiness with their unwelcome guests was apparent throughout the day.
“We need to limit the amount of food we’re putting out” to curb the influx of derelicts, said Rafael Moreno, a kitchen volunteer.
A security volunteer added that the cooks felt “overworked and underappreciated.”

Interesting Development in Case of White House Fast and Furious Contact
Back on June 26th, then ATF supervisor William Newell was questioned about his relationship with Kevin O'Reilly. In particular, members of the House Oversight Committee wanted to know how often the two men communicated about operation Fast and Furious. Newell was more than just a little evasive. The committee made subsequent attempts to get access to O'Reilly for investigative purposes but the response that came back from the White House was that the former National Security Staffer was overseas in Iraq on assignment and would not be available. Now we have a very interesting development uncovered by David Steinberg at Pajamas Media:
Read it all.
Through a tip, PJ Media learned that Kevin O’Reilly was unexpectedly named director of the International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Bureau for Iraq (INL-Iraq). Long-time INL-Iraq employee Virginia Ramadan had been expected to get the position — many were quite surprised when she did not.Right there, three very suspicious realities relative to O'Reilly's reassignment. First, he was unexpectedly given the position over a person who was expected to be appointed. Second, persons who previously held the same position were not unavailable. Third, the phone number listed as a contact for O'Reilly's office in Iraq was disconnected after several years of being in service and one day after a reporter contacted someone by calling that phone number.
The previous occupants of the Director, INL-Iraq position — Joe Manso and Francisco Palmieri — were not considered “unreachable” to press or government access. A quick internet search reveals Palmieri, while director, attended a media event on August 23, 2010.
On October 21, PJ Media reporter Patrick Richardson called the number for Office of the Director, INL-Iraq:
1-240-553-0581, ext. 3275
Richardson reached a voicemail message confirming that it was indeed the correct number. He left a message that was not returned.
On Monday Richardson called again, and an assistant answered. Richardson asked to speak with Kevin O’Reilly, and the assistant asked who was calling. Richardson gave his name and stated he was with PJ Media.
The assistant said O’Reilly was currently on a conference call, and asked if Richardson wanted to leave a message. Richardson gave his phone number. His call was not returned.
This morning, Richardson called again. He received a prerecorded message saying “this number is not in service.”
PJ Media is aware that the number was in service as the line to the director’s office for several years prior to Richardson’s calls.

Video: Occupy Chicago Protester, Retired Teacher, wants to Collapse American Government
The first video below answers a lot of questions in less than two minutes. The second video simply underscores those answers with corroborating evidence. If you want to know why the public education system has produced such mindless adults, consider that the man in this video taught quite a few children over the years. Also, consider that he's calling for a growth in government while collecting nearly $8,000 / month through his pension. His name is Roger Fraser and he just beams with joy whenever he is protesting with OWS. He also appears to subscribe to the Cloward Piven strategy, which calls for overwhelming the system with unsustainable entitlement programs. Lost on him, however, is that if the system is ever collapsed, his pension check would no longer show up in his mailbox.

Wonder no more why OWS consists of so many intellectually vacant drones. They would almost warrant pity if they weren't so dangerous.

On Tuesday, militant, Marxist, anti-war, and gay-rights activists–including some suspected of providing material support to foreign terrorist organizations–led the Occupy Chicago protesters into City Hall to stage an “in your face” protest directed at Mayor Rahm Emanuel. The only thing more amazing than the fact that this guy lacks so much intelligence at such a stage of physical maturity is that he used to teach kids.
We caught up with one protester, Roger Fraser, a retired Palatine, Illinois school teacher. Fraser is a proud member of the “99%” who earns a modest $7,792.75 a month from his pension.
Fraser is also known as a militant gay rights activist and a member of the Gay Liberation Network–the same organization founded by Chicago G-8 and NATO protest organizer–and militant, anti-war, social-justice radical–Andy Thayer.

It's not often that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has to face any music but while appearing before the House Foreign Affairs Committee after her return trip from Afghanistan, she faced some questions from Rep. Connie Mack (R-FL) that pressed her on the State Department's involvement / knowledge relative to Fast and Furious. As has been the case with practically every official who has testified about Fast and Furious, Hillary pleaded ignorance.

Obama Again Standing with ACORN
When a left wing movement needs an injection, who do you call? ACORN, that's who. It appears that the office for the much beleaguered Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) is a hub of supportive activity for the Occupy Wall Street protesters. Remember, ACORN has been thoroughly disgraced and discredited on multiple fronts - including several offices' willingness to help shelter a prostitution ring that used 14-year-old foreign children - that it had to go underground and actually changed its name in New York to New York Communities for Change (NYCC). Remember, Barack Obama is standing with OWS protesters and by extension, he's standing with ACORN... again.
Via Fox News:
If OWS fails, it will be a huge blow to this administration. Perhaps that's why the ACORN zombies are being resurrected.
h/t Free Republic
Via Fox News:
The former New York office for ACORN, the disbanded community activist group, is playing a key role in the self-proclaimed “leaderless” Occupy Wall Street movement, organizing “guerrilla” protest events and hiring door-to-door canvassers to collect money under the banner of various causes while spending it on protest-related activities, sources tell FoxNews.com.Based on what is quite publicly known about ACORN, it's likely a sign of desperation for Obama to once again align with the group. Make no mistake; by expressing support for the protesters, that's exactly what he's doing unless he denounces ACORN.
The former director of New York ACORN, Jon Kest, and his top aides are now busy working at protest events for New York Communities for Change (NYCC). That organization was created in late 2009 when some ACORN offices disbanded and reorganized under new names after undercover video exposes prompted Congress to cut off federal funds.
NYCC’s connection to ACORN isn’t a tenuous one: It works from the former ACORN offices in Brooklyn, uses old ACORN office stationery, employs much of the old ACORN staff and, according to several sources, engages in some of the old organization’s controversial techniques to raise money, interest and awareness for the protests.
Sources said NYCC has hired about 100 former ACORN-affiliated staff members from other cities – paying some of them $100 a day - to attend and support Occupy Wall Street. Dozens of New York homeless people recruited from shelters are also being paid to support the protests, at the rate of $10 an hour, the sources said.
If OWS fails, it will be a huge blow to this administration. Perhaps that's why the ACORN zombies are being resurrected.

Video: Successful Wall Street Businessman Peter Schiff Confronts Protesters, Wins hands down
Successful businessman and CEO, Peter Schiff took to the streets and spoke with Occupy Wall Street protesters at Zuccotti Park and challenged them on their positions, which were once again nonsensical and not the least bit cogent. Once again, if you have any doubt that these people are not pawns for big government, this will help to erase it. When Schiff asks what percentage of his income should be taxed, the response is to rescind the Bush tax cuts. Schiff rightly points out that he would then pay more than 50% in taxes to the government. The logical leap these people just seem incapable of making is that government is truly the entity onto which they should direct their anger.
It's really amazing to behold.
Via The Blaze:
Consider the Alinsky model that is really at the root of all these protesters. Let's not kid ourselves; it's where all this is coming from. The Obama administration is employing community organizing tactics it reveres so well. Obama's support for the protesters and silence in the face of lawlessness demonstrates this without question but let's look at a few of Alinsky's rules that are so important to the success of any movement. OWS appears to be losing some steam all across the US, whether through police crackdowns, decreasing public perception, angry tenants, lack of sanitation, or incoherent arguments when they are confronted (like in the video above).
Here are some of Uncle Saul's rules that could very well be failing:

OWS appears to be losing some steam all across the US, whether through police crackdowns, decreasing public perception, angry tenants, lack of sanitation, or incoherent arguments when they are confronted (like in the video above).
Here are some of Uncle Saul's rules that could very well be failing:
Rule 2: Never go outside the experience of your people. The result is confusion, fear, and retreat. This is exactly what Schiff did when he confronted the protesters. Instead of being allowed to live in their insanely non-sensical paradigms about how bankers are destroying the country, they are confronted with some very powerful facts. Though they're not likely to ingest them, they may be de-engergized by them.
Rule 6: A good tactic is one your people enjoy. “If your people aren’t having a ball doing it, there is something very wrong with the tactic.”Clearly, these protesters enjoyed camping out in tents in various cities across the country; they loved the attention and welcomed the new environment as an elementary school kid would welcome a field trip. However, as the day wears on, children want to go home. That could be taking place with OWS right now. They're having to deal with an increasingly agitated public. As if that weren't bad enough, the supposed "99%" doesn't even know what they'r protesting.
Rule 7: A tactic that drags on for too long becomes a drag. Commitment may become ritualistic as people turn to other issues.Very closely related to previous rule. If OWS fails, Alinsky could be close to jumping the shark.
Rule 8: Keep the pressure on. Use different tactics and actions and use all events of the period for your purpose. “The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition. It is this that will cause the opposition to react to your advantage.”The problem here is that the opposition doesn't seem to be feeling pressure, just agitation that appears to be having the effect of motivating it to push back. As for different tactics, how many arrows can the Alinsky-ites have in their quiver after OWS?

Video: Former Soviet Citizen Smacks Down Occupy Wall Street Protesters
This video is flat-out amazing. If you want to know how truly and thoroughly brainwashed these protesters are, this one should sum it up. The heard (but unseen) former Soviet citizen (fSc) confronts a couple of people about socialism vs. capitalism. He should have known it was a hopeless cause when the woman said North Korea was better off than South Korea and the guy next to her said North Korea is in such bad shape because of imperialism. Then fSc points to the picture of Che Guevara on the woman's poster and tells her the guy was a mass murderer. Her response? She shook her head.

Videos: DHS Secretary Napolitano Grilled over Fast and Furious
Though this was a House Judiciary Committee hearing, Oversight members, Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC), Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT), and chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA) were all present. Each had a shot at pressing DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano and each did so. First up is Chaffetz, who becomes visibly frustrated at Napolitano's stonewalling. In particular, he appeared to find the contention on the part of Napolitano that she hadn't discussed Fast and Furious with Eric Holder particularly vexing.
Via Oversight Productions:
Rep. Gowdy, as a former prosecutor, is quite familiar with protocol in cases that involve gun trafficking. Take note as he gets Napolitano to agree on proper procedures for how something known as a T3 is handled. When he takes the next logical step, based on what Napolitano agreed was correct, she clams up after realizing that answering in the affirmative would implicated the Justice Department:
Then came Darrell Issa's turn. In this heated exchange, Issa asks Napolitano some very straightforward questions that the Secretary refuses to answer and says she will get the answers to him in writing:

Videos: More from Occupy Oakland (Picking up from Previous Post)
In the previous post, I noted that protesters at Occupy Oakland vowed to return after being arrested and removed during a pre-dawn raid of their camp. Well, it appears they've decided to show up en masse, downtown and raise a bit of a ruckus. Again, there are a few very bad optics for these protesters. First, these flashmobs are creating the visible perception that cops are the underdogs based on sheer numbers. In the past, protesters weren't this big so the general public is likely willing to extend a bit more grace to law enforcement.
Second, the videos clearly show that police are bending over backwards to avoid being perceived as rougher than what is reasonable. Conversely, the protesters are coming across as deserving far more than what they're getting. Police are being cussed at and assaulted with paint bombs and tear gas (second video below).
Here are three videos courtesy of Verum Serum. The first is a view of the flashmob from several stories above. The second is an on-the-ground look at the same hodgepodge of miscreants who are being treated far too nicely. The third captures the moment when police have had enough and fire tear gas into a mass of humanity that had surrounded other officers. In essence, cops acted in self-defense. If these protesters are looking for sympathy, it increasingly looks like they could get much less of it. Remember, the mayor of Oakland is liberal Democrat, which brings an entirely new political angle into view. Liberal protesters being confronted by a liberal mayor in a very liberal city.
Lap it all up:
At some point, people should start finding Obama's silence deafening.

Videos: Police Crack Down on Occupy Oakland, Following Orders of Liberal Mayor
The story of the Occupy Oakland protests is so wrought with irony, I can hardly stand it. This is Pelosi-country. Though OWS protests are happening all across the country, Oakland somehow became the most problematic for local government. Liberal Democrat Mayor Jean Quan issued orders last week that protesters had to vacate the premises by 10pm or they would be removed. Police didn't start carrying out the order until just before dawn on Tuesday, the 25th but carry it out they did. Oakland is also the place where none other than Van Jones got his start confronting police brutality as a communist sympathizer.
In the case of Occupy Oakland, Quan is supposed to be a sympathetic figure to the cause, right? Being a Democrat, it's going to be hard for the protesters to rationalize where to place the blame. Protesters lost this one for another reason as well. Since the 1960's, it's always been to the benefit of left wing whacko protesters to play the part of the victim when getting arrested. The optics always seemed to favor the miscreants and make the cops look like brutal minions of the state. That strategy doesn't seem to be working as well these days, nor should it. Law enforcement has actually been far too patient with these mental toddlers.
More good news? Protesters vowed to return and 're-claim' the park. Either way, that's a win for rational people. If they come back, Ms. Quan will continue to have to confront the manifestation of the liberalism she supports. If they don't return, Occupy Oakland dies.

Video: Whacko Michael Moore Responds to Question about Supporting #OccupyWallStreet while being part of 1%
Ah, a peek inside the twisted liberal mind of Michael Moore. Gotta give Piers Morgan credit here for not letting Moore off the hook. In essence, Morgan wanted to know why Moore so despises capitalism when he has benefited so greatly from it. Morgan also pressed Moore about the latter being part of the 1% the Occupy Wall Streeters are protesting yet support them. For a while, Moore rejected the premise that said he IS part of the 1% but ultimately relented when Morgan wouldn't let him off the hook. The twisted logic of Moore when it came to capitalism was amazing to behold.
Moore quite clumsily attempted to turn hypocrisy into some form of righteousness by saying that, yes, he's done very well but he has been fighting the system while doing it. He's fighting for the 99% even though he's not part of them.

Muslim Brotherhood Declares Victory in Tunisia
The Muslim Brotherhood continues to rack up one victory after another thanks in large part to the policies of the Barack Obama administration. Gadhafi hadn't even reached freezer temperature when the Islamists in Tunisia began unmasking themselves as the victors in the elections there. Make no mistake, the Enahda Party is nothing more than an extension of the Muslim Brotherhood, which is an identifier that is increasingly becoming more well known to westerners with each country that falls under its control. In fact, the leader of Enahda has an interesting history with the leading Muslim Brotherhood cleric, Youssef Qaradawi.

Rachid Ghannouchi (many spelling variations) is the leader of the Tunisian Islamist movement known as Nahada (aka Ennahda, Al Nahda) and can best be described as an independent Islamist power center who is tied to the global Muslim Brotherhood through his membership in the European Council for Fatwa and Research (ECFR) and his important position in the International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS), both organizations led by Global Muslim Brotherhood Youssef Qaradawi. An Egyptian news report has identified Ghannouchi as a leader of the Muslim Brotherhood “abroad.” Ghannouchi is also one of the founding members of the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY), a Saudi organization closely linked to the Muslim Brotherhood and dedicated to the propagation of “Wahabist” Islam throughout the world. Ghannouchi is known for his thinking on the issue of Islam and citizenship rights. Earlier posts reported on the return of Mr. Ghannouchi to Tunisia following his long exile in the UK.Meanwhile, Reuters is referring to Ghannouchi's Party as 'moderate' while championing its electoral success:
Moderate Islamists claimed victory on Monday in Tunisia's first democratic election, sending a message to other states in the region that long-sidelined Islamists are challenging for power after the "Arab Spring."Amazingly, the United States continues to help clear the Middle Eastern path for the Muslim Brotherhood's rise while the country most interested in the Brotherhood's success - Turkey - just sits back and watches the United States deplete its resources. It strains every ounce of credulity to believe that the Obama administration does not know what it's doing.
Official results have not been announced, but the Ennahda party said its workers had tallied the results posted at polling stations after Sunday's vote, the first since the uprisings which began in Tunisia and spread through the region.
"The first confirmed results show that Ennahda has obtained first place," campaign manager Abdelhamid Jlazzi said outside party headquarters in the center of the Tunisian capital.
As he spoke, a crowd of more than 300 in the street shouted "Allahu Akbar!" or "God is great!" Other people started singing the Tunisian national anthem.

Timothy McVeigh and the Occupy Wall Street Protests
As the American Nazi Party officially endorse the Occupy Wall Street protests while sharing the same target - 'Jewish Bankers' - I began thinking about how much Timothy McVeigh would have in common with the protesters. The more I explored the possibility, the more apparent it became to me that the executed Oklahoma City bomber had far more in common with what OWS is all about than with any right wing movement in general, or the Tea Party in particular. The next time someone attempts to paint McVeigh as a right wing extremist, consider that he was anything but.
My latest at Big Government:
My latest at Big Government:
Timothy McVeigh Smiling up at #OccupyWallSt ProtestersFor hyperlinks that back up the aforementioned claims, go to Big Government.
by Ben Barrack
As the Occupy Wall Street protesters started to gather in various cities across the country, it was soon learned that the American Nazi Party endorsed the movement and called for its members to “…JOIN IN the attack on Judeo-Capitalism.” Even the left wing media is conceding that the OWS crowd is a manifestation of left wing anger intended to counter the Tea Party. Timothy McVeigh was a neo-Nazi. His favorite book was a novel entitled The Turner Diaries, which was written by William L. Pierce, an official with the American Nazi Party; even the far left group Southern Poverty Law Center acknowledges this. We are left to conclude that since the American Nazi Party endorses the OWS protests, so would Mr. McVeigh.
So why would the Nazi Party get behind a left wing movement if the Tea Party is the group that is supposed to be filled with racists and Nazis? Nancy Pelosi said the swastika was the symbol of the Tea Party. Yet, the group whose logo is the swastika has endorsed OWS. Instances of Nazi references at Tea Parties have often involved left wing hijinks. Posters of Obama with a Hitler mustache that appeared at some Tea Party rallies were actually the brainchild of the far left’s LaRouche PAC.
Let’s also not forget the short-lived ‘Crash the Tea Party’ movement that called for left wing activists to infiltrate Tea Parties and behave in ways that would help portray the group as racist. True Tea Party conservatives actively policed themselves when aptly named infiltrators attempted to tar the movement. One of the more blatant examples came courtesy of the Sharp Elbows website. When a man sporting Nazi garb milled around within the group, he was confronted and weeded out. Recently, while defending the OWS protesters, Media Matters’ Eric Boehlert posted a photo of two youths, one holding a sign with a swastika on it that said “No Repeats” and the other with a photo portraying Barack Obama in a Mao suit, at what appeared to be a Tea Party rally. Such behavior is not advisable to be sure but in addition to the protesters in the example Boehlert provided being rather young, those signs were intended to convey a rejection of, not support for, Nazism.
There are other examples of white supremacists infiltrating Tea Parties but such instances are typically strategic attempts at piggy-backing and not the result of a common cause. Consider the case of the Council of Conservative Citizens (CofCC), a neo-Nazi group that uses deceptive means and tactics to infiltrate Tea Parties. In fact, one of Arizona’s Neo-Nazi leaders – JT Ready – deceptively donned partriotic American garb and posed for a photo with Arizona State Senator Russel Pearce, who was responsible for crafting his state’s tough immigration law, SB 1070. Had Pearce known Ready was a Neo-Nazi, he most assuredly would not have granted him a photo-op.
The American Nazi Party is not using deceptive means to graft itself into the Occupy Wall Street protests. Increasingly, it doesn’t seem necessary as a large number of OWS protesters are seen referring to their targets as Jewish Bankers.
That is exactly what the Nazi Party is claiming. This is a common denominator between the two groups. At practically every turn, Tea Party conservatives went out of their way to denounce racist entities and individuals who attempted to join their ranks. Conversely, when it comes to the target of generic OWS protesters and the American Nazi Party, the idea of denunciation comes precariously close to hypocrisy. In any case, Tea Partiers made quick work of Nazi infiltrators. Thus far, OWS doesn’t seem all that interested in doing the same. After all, entities with a common cause make interesting allies who are all too often willing to overlook the political liabilities presented by the other.
Let’s consider the target of the OWS protesters. The object of the group’s collective ire is Wall Street in general and bankers in particular. They are demanding that rich bankers be made to give up their wealth so that it can be re-distributed. In essence, the protesters are calling for institutionalized bank robbery. Go figure, Timothy McVeigh was also a bank robber, as were several of his colleagues.
Moreover, the left always defaults to the Timothy-McVeigh-was-a-Christian argument every time the subject of Islamic terror comes up. In fact, the only thing more maddening than that meme is when it goes unchallenged by conservatives who never seem to bring up the fact that McVeigh was agnostic. Oh, that reminds me. The agnostic movement seems to be largely supportive of the OWS protests as well. A perusal of the Agnositics International forum should sufficiently demonstrate that. Also, take note that a guitarist for the band Agnostic Front is in support of the OWS protests too.
Everyone acknowledges that McVeigh believed in solving his problems with violence. The crime that led to his execution proves that but what about the OWS crowd? Democratic pollster Douglas Schoen discovered that nearly one-third of the OWS protesters are in support of violence to further the group’s agenda; 98% support civil disobedience. Something tells me Timothy McVeigh would fit right in with this bunch.
At the very least, the left should think twice before painting Timothy McVeigh as a poster child for the right wing extremist movement. Such a charge, now more than ever, reeks of projection.
Chilling Video: Steve Wynn gives Cavuto look behind Curtain of 'Politics in America'
Look for this to get significant play over the next couple of days. It's not often (perhaps never) that a wealthy businessman is this frank about his dealings with national politicians but Las Vegas hotel magnate, Steve Wynn does just that and it is more than just a little chilling. The fact that Wynn is this frank is trumped only by his charges which, in turn, are made all the more disturbing by the fact that he's so forthright about delivering them.
Here, Wynn tells what looks like an increasingly shell-shocked Neil Cavuto that politicians know they're doing wrong but do it anyway. He makes reference to Harry Reid hanging up on him and then his Congresswoman telling him during the Obamacare debate that while she didn't agree with the legislation, she voted for it for fear of being 'punished' by Nancy Pelosi. Watch the entire 1:30 of video. If you're not awake before watching this, you should be afterward.
A relevant follow-up clip comes from none other than Obama himself, who said these words while in Las Vegas. In light of what you heard Wynn say about Pelosi's tactics, consider the implications of Obama's words here when he says he is going to act 'with or without Congress.' It is long past time for the legislative branch to stand up for itself against this president.

NYC Police: Shootings up 28% Because of Occupy Wall Street
As Vice President Joe Biden rants about how rapes and murders will increase unless Congress passes Obama's second stimulus bill appears to have an opportunity he's not taking advantage of and it has to do with Occupy Wall Street. Apparently, NYC Police are saying that shootings are up by 28% because they have had to divert so many resources to OWS. Instead of demanding more money to prevent more rape and murder, perhaps Biden should be demanding the OWS protesters go home. Logically, that makes the most sense but alas, Biden is conspicuously silent.

The number of people shot surged 154 percent two weeks ago -- to 56 from 22 over the same week last year -- and spiked 28 percent in the last month.
Last week tallied another increase in victims -- 22 people had been hit through Friday, including the three victims gunned down outside a Brooklyn school Friday.
Last year, only 17 shooting victims were logged for the entire week.
The recent gunplay has now pushed the number of shooting victims this year slightly above last year’s tragic tally -- to 1,484 from 1,451 -- through Oct. 16.

Obama Continues doing Muslim Brotherhood's Bidding
The debate about whether Barack Obama is secretly a Muslim is rather fruitless at this point but one thing that is not in dispute is the fact that at practically every turn, his administration's policies support the Global Muslim Brotherhood movement. The Arab Spring is something he supported. Without Obama's policies, Mubarak and Gadhafi would still be in power. Some may support their removal but they do so out of ignorance about what's going to fill the void or they're in support of what will - an exponentially more dangerous threat to western civilization. For one, I simply cannot accept the premise which says Obama doesn't know or understand the goals of the Muslim Brotherhood, which means he's doing their bidding on purpose.

Now the head of the National Transnational Council, Mustafa Abdul Jalil is publicly announcing that the future of Libya will involve a strict adherence to Sharia Law.
Via UK Telegraph:
Mustafa Abdul-Jalil, the chairman of the National Transitional Council and de fact president, had already declared that Libyan laws in future would have Sharia, the Islamic code, as its "basic source".Meanwhile, in Tunisia, the Islamists (Muslim Brotherhood) are poised to take control of that country as well.
But that formulation can be interpreted in many ways - it was also the basis of Egypt's largely secular constitution under President Hosni Mubarak, and remains so after his fall.
Mr Abdul-Jalil went further, specifically lifting immediately, by decree, one law from Col. Gaddafi's era that he said was in conflict with Sharia - that banning polygamy.
In a blow to those who hoped to see Libya's economy integrate further into the western world, he announced that in future bank regulations would ban the charging of interest, in line with Sharia. "Interest creates disease and hatred among people," he said.
Gulf states like the United Arab Emirates, and other Muslim countries, have pioneered the development of Sharia-compliant banks which charge fees rather than interest for loans but they normally run alongside western-style banks.
Via Reuters:
Islamists are expected to do well in Tunisia's first democratic election on Sunday, 10 months after the ouster of autocratic leader Zine al-Abidine Ben Ali in a popular uprising that set off protest movements around the Arab world. For what it's worth, Islamic law says that Obama is still a Muslim because he was born of a Muslim father. Can someone - preferably Obama - tell us when the president converted to Christianity?
The Ennahda party will almost certainly win a share of power after the vote, which will set a democratic standard for other Arab countries where uprisings have triggered political change or governments have tried to rush reforms to stave off unrest.
Sunday's vote is for an assembly which will draft a new constitution to replace the one Ben Ali manipulated to entrench his power. It will also appoint an interim government and set elections for a new president and parliament.

Occupy Boston: Selling Heroin from Tent with Six-Year-Old Child Inside
It cannot be underscored enough that Barack Obama is standing with the Occupy Wall Street protesters and he demonized the Tea Party. Here is yet another in a long line of examples of lawlessness at the #Occupy protests. Two men were arrested for selling heroin from their tent. As if that wasn't bad enough, they were selling it within 1000 ft. of a school zone. As if that wasn't bad enough, they had a six-year-old child living in the tent with them.

Two Occupy Boston members have been arrested on drug charges, Boston police said yesterday. So far, there have been reports of the following at various Occupy Wall Street protests: Rape, Indecent exposure, death threats, rat problems, sanitation problems, and now drug pushing while in the presence of children.
Bostonians Isaac Bell, 34, and Charlene Dumont, 31, were both charged with distribution of a class A drug (heroin) and possession with intent to distribute a class A drug within 1,000 feet of a school zone, police say.
The 6-year-old child who was living with them in a tent is now staying with family members, police said.
The arrests were made Friday after police said they received “multiple reports of drug activity in and around” Occupy Boston’s Rose Kennedy Greenway encampment.

More than 50 protesters from the Occupy Boston movement were arrested early Tuesday after they ignored warnings to move from a downtown greenway near where they have been camped out for more than a week, police said. And Joe Biden is more concerned about passing a jobs bill to prevent rape? Someone should tell him he could help to prevent rape (and drug use) by denouncing these protests.
Police spokesman Jamie Kenneally said the arrests began about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday and were mostly for trespassing.
The protesters, part of the national Occupy Wall Street movement, had tried to expand from their original site in Dewey Square to a second site across the street, along the Rose Kennedy Greenway. A local conservancy group recently planted $150,000 worth of shrubs along the greenway and officials said they were concerned about damage.

Video: Lead Cairo Protester in US, Advising Occupy Wall Street
The protests in Egypt that led to the overthrow of Hosni Mubarak were made possible, in large part, by the actions of young, tech-saavy activists who organized and coordinated the facebook and twitter revolution. The two men given the bulk of the credit are Google regional manager for Africa, Wael Ghonim and a man named Ahmed Maher. In Cairo, on the day Mubarak's ouster was assured, Ghonim took to the stage at Tahrir Square to speak to the masses. However, the Muslim Brotherhood element would have none of it. Ghonim was forced off the stage and the microphone was given to the Brotherhood's top sheikh, Youssef al-Qaradawi.
Now, Ahmed Maher apparently wants to replicate what went down in Egypt by working with the Occupy Wall Street (OWS) protesters in Washington, DC and New York City. Maher's influence might help to explain the similarities between the makeup of the protests. Tent cities are certainly a common denominator. The reliance on facebook and twitter is another one.

One of the key activists behind Egypt’s “Facebook Revolution” is now giving advice to a new group of protesters: the Occupy Wall Street movement. Here is video of Maher via Think Progress, a George Soros entity.
The protesters in New York’s Zuccotti Park — and their offshoots around the country — often cite the mass demonstrations earlier this year in Cairo’s Tahrir Square as their inspiration. So maybe it shouldn’t be much of a surprise that Ahmed Maher, one of the leading figures in those Egyptian protests, has been corresponding for weeks with the Occupy Wall Streeters, whom he calls “our brothers.”
Maher is one of the founders of the April 6 Youth, which used Facebook, Twitter and YouTube to galvanize Egyptians against President Hosni Mubarak. Recently, however, his attention has turned toward America, where he’s been chatting online with Occupy activists. Those conversations center around practical advice from a successful Egyptian revolutionary. Usually, they occur through Facebook. On Tuesday, for the first time, they happened face to face.
“We talk on the internet about what happened in Egypt, about our structure, about our organization, how to organize a flash mob, how to organize a sit-in,” Maher tells Danger Room, and “how to be non-violent with police.”

Must See Video: Che the 'Gay' Protester at Occupy Oakland
Only in a left wing whacko's mind can one become personally accountable by placing the blame for one's own thoughts and unacceptable actions on the 'system.' When a racist thought enters the mind of a leftist, it's time to 'check yourself' by realizing that those thoughts aren't yours; they were put there by an evil system. Yes, 'Che' at Occupy Oakland is a self-professed anarchist, racism hater, gay white male, and apparently a psychoanalyst who has decided to accept full responsibility for his actions..... after blaming those actions on the actions of an evil establishment whose actions he had NO control over.

Video: Atlanta Police Confiscate US Flag Pole from Tea Partier, Ignore Occupy Atlanta Protester Infractions
I think it's safe to say that the City of Atlanta is leading the field when it comes to municipalities in the running for exhibiting the biggest double standard at this point. To set this up, know that Matthew Perdie is a Tea Partier who, in 2010, walked across the entire country while carrying his American flag. This month, Perdie was walking with fellow Tea Partiers in Atlanta while the lawless Occupy Atlanta protesters were doing their thing. Watch as Atlanta Capitol Police tell Perdie that he must either part with his flag pole or leave the city. Then watch as the camera captures the wide array of Occupy Atlanta poles hoisted into the air.
Via Big Government:
Note that in the video, Atlanta mayor Mohammed Kasim Reed makes an appearance and defends the Occupy Atlanta protesters. It's interesting to note that Reed's first name is Mohammad, according the Super Lawyers website from 2005. It appears that Reed attends the Cascade United Methodist church but he readily admits that his father toyed with the idea of converting to Islam. He also seems to be supported by the Muslim community.
Not saying that Reed is a Muslim. There is no evidence of that - besides his name - but he is certainly aligned with the far left. His alliance with OWS is shared with the American Nazi Party, the Communist Party USA, and CAIR (Muslim Brotherhood).
Reed's role in the egregiously disparate treatment levied against the OWS protesters and the Tea Party respectively is unclear but as mayor of Atlanta, he's got far more power than anyone else to address the problem.

Occupy Oakland Protesters Call City's Bluff, Don't Leave, City Blinks
These Occupy Wall Street protests in just about every US city are becoming rat-infested mini-pits of hell to varying degrees. Whether rapes, sexual assaults, drug use, threats, lack of sanitation (rat and human feces), some of these little tent cities have it all; some are worse than others. All have their problems. Occupy Oakland seems to be among the most degenerate. A television reporter allegedly had her life threatened, another reporter had his arm bitten by a protester's dog, and at some point, the protesters prevented any reporters from entering their sub-human living quarters.
In fact, Occupy Oakland got so bad that the city issued protesters an eviction notice that was to be honored by 10pm local time on October 21st. By 11pm, protesters had not been removed and there was no sign of police.
Via Associated Press:
Later, early Saturday morning, protesters seemed to mockingly wave at a passing police car.
It will be interesting to see if the city actually stands behind its threat or stands down. If it does the latter, it might be time for the National Guard to step in. Governor Jerry Brown is sure to....... oh, never mind.

Via Associated Press:
Hundreds of anti-Wall Street protesters defied a city order late Friday to leave their campsite at a plaza outside Oakland's City Hall.Since the protesters, in general, haven't been all that good at enunciating any coherent reason for protesting, perhaps we can deduce that Mr. Johnson thinks breeding rats is a good cause.
The city had given the Occupy Oakland demonstrators an ultimatum to be out by 10 p.m. PDT Friday, but there were no signs of them leaving well after that hour.
Earlier in the day, city spokeswoman Karen Boyd said that the city gave official notice that the protesters do not have permission to remain overnight and that their encampment is breaking the law.
Many protesters said they have no intentions of leaving even though the city announced Thursday that after nearly two weeks it can no longer uphold public health and safety at the site.
Boyd says she expects the protesters to comply and would not comment on what steps the city would take toward enforcing of the law.
There was no sign of police presence immediately after 10 p.m. Friday.
Several cities in the United States and around the world have arrested anti-Wall Street protesters who have failed to leave public areas.
"I'm not going anywhere. They're going to have to come and take me away," said Christopher Dunlap, 23, who said he has been on the City Hall lawn since the first day of the encampment.
While the city will no longer allow protesters to stay overnight at the site, they can demonstrate there from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., Boyd said.
Earlier Friday, protester Gerry Johnson, 55, who said he has been at the site for more than a week said it's unlikely his fellow demonstrators will leave.
"I'm trying to keep calm," Johnson said. "We're here for a good cause. I think we'll stand our ground."

Videos: Muslims Occupy Wall Street, Pray the Jummah
CAIR New York encouraged Muslims to join in the Occupy Wall Street protests on Friday, October 21st to pray the Jummah (Friday prayers). Well, it happened and a sermon on 'Social Justice in Islam' was given by an Imam named Aiyub Abdul Baki, who was an outspoken supporter of the Ground Zero mosque last year. On one level, no one should really be surprised that CAIR and the gang has decided to link up with far left protesters but on another level, I am a bit surprised about how overt they are here. OWS has already been endorsed strongly by the American Nazi Party and the Communist Party USA (CPUSA).
In addition to CAIR's presence in New York, one of the organization's attorneys - Shayan Elahi - who represented Rifq Bary's parents when the seventeen-year-old girl fled from them for fear of being a victim of an honor killing because of her conversion to Christianity, led the Occupy Orlando protest.

Confirmed: Islamic Terror Groups Supporting Occupy Wall Street Protests
Has anyone noticed that these Occupy Wall Street (OWS) tent cities across the country are eerily reminiscent of the scene at Tahrir Square earlier this year? We're learning that this is not a coincidence. In Cairo, reporter Lara Logan was the victim of a violent sexual assault; reporters were threatened and accosted; Anderson Cooper and Christianne Amanpour were among them. At Occupy Cleveland, there was a report of a mentally handicapped woman being raped by a man who entered her tent. At Occupy Oakland, one television reporter had her life threatened while another was attacked by a protester's dog.
Now this. An Arabic website that is expressing support for the Occupy Wall Street protests in the United States. There will be much more on this in the coming days but be prepared. There will be breaking news about this. The question that needs to be asked is: Does this site represent groups who merely support the Occupy Wall Street protests or does it reveal Muslim Brotherhood involvement?
Stay tuned because not only will that question be answered but we seek to bring you names.
On a related note, the United West has already proven that the CAIR Attorney who represented the parents of then seventeen-year-old Rifqa Bary coordinated and organized the Occupy Orlando protest last week. Now it has been learned that CAIR's national office is directing Muslims to attend the Occupy Wall Street protests.
Via CAIR New York:
It's a reality that is manifesting itself before our very eyes and these tent cities are rapidly becoming pits of evil; As mentioned earlier, reporters covering the Occupy Oakland protests are not even being allowed in. That is certainly a red flag.
There WILL be much more to come.

CAIR-NY Invites You To Pray Jummah At Wall StreetFolks, this is getting very serious. It appears that someone has made the decision to rip the mask off and go for broke. Unfortunately, local government officials in many of these cities are sympathetic to the OWS cause. In several cases, police are either standing down or exercising restraint because they do as well. Remember, we're talking public sector unions here. They have a conflict of interest that, at minimum, hampers their effectiveness. In reality, these protests are being taken over by Socialists, Communists, Nazis, and Islamists who are all aligning together to target Capitalism. The unwashed (literally) masses at these protests are nothing more than pawns and useful idiots who have no clue what they're in for.
Dear Friends,
This Friday, the Council on American Islamic Relations New York Chapter (CAIR-NY) would like to invite you and your organization to join us for Jummah at Occupy Wall Street this Friday, October 21st. Over the past several weeks, it has become clear that many of the demands of Occupy Wall Street parallel those of the New York Muslim community. Especially in light of the recently exposed NYPD surveillance in Muslim Student Organizations, we need to unite in our repudiation of government corruption and our rejection of the political effort to marginalize our voices. Even if your MSA cannot is not able to join us officially, we would appreciate it if you could circulate the attached message among your mailing lists. Feel free to make any changes to our wording to suit your needs.
It is time for the New York Muslim community to assume its place in the fight for political and economic equality in this country, and it is vital that the youth lead the way.
Peace and blessings,
The staff and interns of CAIR-NY

Videos: Occupy Oakland the Latest Lawless Rat Hole
Well, add Occupy Oakland to the list of left wing protesters who have descended into a pit of rats (literally) and lawlessness. Earlier this week, it was reported that a mentally handicapped woman at Occupy Cleveland was raped by a man who entered her tent. At about the same time, a man at Occupy Seattle was arrested for exposing himself to children multiple times. Now, it looks like Occupy Oakland is threatening and assaulting local television reporters while demanding those reporters stay out of the park where that tent city is set up.
In one particularly disturbing incident, San Francisco television reporter Amy Hollyfield had her life threatened by a protester. Via Big Journalism:
Perhaps the most troubling aspect to these protests is the sympathy the continue to garner from city officials and some law enforcement. We saw this at the Wisconsin State Capitol building earlier this year when police and firefighters aligned with the public sector union protesters in that state. The same seems to be happening, at least to some degree, in many of these OWS protests. There are more videos posted at Big J but here is one that features Amy Hollyfield, the reporter who was allegedly threatened, though she doesn't mention the threat to her life:

Early yesterday morning, we received a tip from a reader in the San Francisco East Bay area who informed us that a local reporter’s life had been threatened by an activist at the Occupy Oakland demonstration.Funny, Tea Parties didn't seem to have these problems.
Our source, who is fearful of reprisal and has requested anonymity, says that KGO-TV’s Amy Hollyfield was accosted by a man who threatened her and used a racial slur:
“We shoot white bitches like you around here.”
According to our source, the Oakland Police Department was apparently called to the scene. Inquiries to the police, and to Hollyfield, which began at roughly 8 a.m. Pacific time yesterday, are still unanswered today.
Other local morning news reports from three of the major Bay Area stations suggested that the Occupy Oakland tent city had descended into rat-infested squalor with complaints of vandalism, public urination, sexual harassment, and sex in public.

Video: Is Herman Cain's Abortion Stance the Beginning of his Implosion?
The upside to Herman Cain is that he's not a politician. The downside is his lack of political experience. It was refreshing to see him admit that he was ill-informed about something. It's tiresome to watch him continue to have to do so. Cain's latest misstep may be the beginning of the end for his candidacy and it involves a convoluted position on abortion.
John Kerry was for something before he was against it. When it comes to abortion, Cain appears to be for something WHILE he is against it.
First, decide for yourself what Cain is trying to say in this interview. To extend a full allotment of grace presumes that Cain is 100% anti-abortion except in the case of rape, at which point the decision should be made by the family and the doctor. However, the reality of this exchange is that one is left scratching one's head at the lack of clarity.
The vast majority of Cain's support is pro-life. He needs to be careful not to become the dog with a bone in its mouth who sees his reflection in the water; the dog loses the bone he has by trying to get a second one below. Cain needs to tightly hang on to the Tea Party bone. Equivocation at this point will definitely hurt him. Again, his strength is the fact that he's not a politician. His weakness is that he doesn't have political experience. I'd by lying if I said I'm not concerned Cain will sink his candidacy with incidents like these.
Hot Air has much more on this.

Video: Muslim Brotherhood Joins Occupy Orlando Protest
It's already been proven that the Occupy Wall Street (OWS) protests across the country (Occupy Cleveland, Occupy Seattle, etc) have been endorsed by the Communist Party USA (CPUSA), the American Nazi Party, and Barack Obama. Now there is evidence that the Muslim Brotherhood is playing an integral role in at least one of the protests (Occupy Orlando). This is a phenomenal piece of video journalism from the United West. To put this in the proper context, you'll need to go back to 2009, when a 17-year-old girl named Rifqa Bary fled to Orlando because her Muslim parents discovered she converted from Islam to Christianity. Rifqa charged that she was destined to be the victim of an honor killing.
The attorney who represented Rifqa's parents was a man named Shayan Elahi, who is a member of CAIR, a Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated group. CAIR is an extension of Hamas. What the latter attempts to do through terrorism, the former does through lobbying, litigation, etc. Tom Trento of United West attended the Occupy Orlando protest and while he was interviewing a female protester, Elahi showed up. From there, Trento and his crew began connecting dots. It turned out that Elahi wasn't just in attendance; he was a primary leader of Occupy Orlando. Are we to believe this is an isolated case? If there were actual journalists in the mainstream media, there's no telling what they would find at other OWS protests. We already know that the Muslim Brotherhood has been working rather covertly when it comes to the Arab Spring.
Once again, Islam finds common cause with Nazis and Obama. Who'd have thought?

Video: Comedienne Infiltrates OWS Protests, Protesters don't Notice
I must admit, as I watched this video without any context, I thought the long-haired lady who got the bulk of airtime in this video was actually one of the Occupy Wall Street protesters. She seemed to fit right in. Perhaps that's why the real protesters left her alone. Any inclination they may have had to shut her down was likely suppressed by how truthful her message seemed to be. There were probably some in the crowd who wished she had more nuance but she essentially captures the essence of the protests.
Her name is Kelley Lynn and she is a comedienne who infiltrated the OWS protests for Opie and Anthony. The left wing site MediaIte has the video but Jon Bershad's commentary over there is quite lame. His contention is that Lynn was so over-the-top that the fact no one assaulted her should be proof that the OWS protests are peaceful. Uh, Jon, no one assaulted her because she was expressing the movement's lack of intelligence and coherence. She fit right in.
Be sure to watch until the very end. **MILD CONTENT WARNING FOR LANGUAGE**

Video: Mitt Romney's Achilles Heal Exposed in Debate
The candidate who landed the hardest blow on Mitt Romney was named Rick but his last name wasn't Perry; it was Santorum. By far, the achilles heal of Mitt Romney is ObamneyCare. For some reason, Rick Perry decided to go to the mat with Romney over the latter's hiring of a landscaping company that used illegal aliens, despite the fact that Rick Perry's most powerful ad was a recent one that masterfully highlighted the similarities between Obama and Romney while pointing to the fact that the former Massachusetts governor edited one sentence out of his book that called for government run health care across the United States. This is bad for Romney because his defense of Romneycare has been that he DOESN'T think it's right for the country. That position doesn't square with the sentence in his book that he had taken out and that is his biggest weakness.
In essence, Santorum used the content of Perry's ad and while Perry can be heard in the background of this clip echoing the charge brought up by Santorum, the Texas governor not only blew a big opportunity but he came out looking petulant by going after Romney on the illegal immigration issue.
Here is the exchange where Santorum successfully exposed Romney's biggest weakness. Via The Blaze:
Here is the excellent ad recently released by the Perry campaign that Santorum actually benefited from:

Doug Schoen: The Democrat Canary
Doug Schoen is considered to be a moderate Democrat, although his support for Hillary Clinton might draw the moderate label into question. Nonetheless, he has a stark warning for the Democratic Party and that warning is that it should distance itself from the Occupy Wall Street protests. Additionally, Schoen's people actually did some polling research on the protesters and found that one third of them support violence (are you listening Chris Christie?). If Schoen is right, which I believe he is, Obama's decision to double-down on his Alinsky-inspired ideology is only going to further alienate the wide swath of voters who disagree with OWS. In this regard, Obama is like a child with matches sitting next to the living room curtains.

Via WSJ:
Thus Occupy Wall Street is a group of engaged progressives who are disillusioned with the capitalist system and have a distinct activist orientation. Among the general public, by contrast, 41% of Americans self-identify as conservative, 36% as moderate, and only 21% as liberal. That's why the Obama-Pelosi embrace of the movement could prove catastrophic for their party. After his column appeared in the Wall Street Journal, Schoen appeared on Fox Business with Stuart Varney:
In 1970, aligning too closely with the antiwar movement hurt Democrats in the midterm election, when many middle-class and working-class Americans ended up supporting hawkish candidates who condemned student disruptions. While that 1970 election should have been a sweep against the first-term Nixon administration, it was instead one of only four midterm elections since 1938 when the president's party didn't lose seats.
With the Democratic Party on the defensive throughout the 1970 campaign, liberal Democrats were only able to win on Election Day by distancing themselves from the student protest movement. So Adlai Stevenson III pinned an American flag to his lapel, appointed Chicago Seven prosecutor Thomas Foran chairman of his Citizen's Committee, and emphasized "law and order"—a tactic then employed by Ted Kennedy, who denounced the student protesters as "campus commandos" who must be repudiated, "especially by those who may share their goals."

Video: Want Proof Chris Christie is Clueless?
I hope Ann Coulter caught this one. Oh, how the mighty New Jersey governor has fallen. It seemed like just yesterday that Glenn Beck was referring to his rants against unions as 'porn.' Since then, Christie has devolved into a moral equivalency pit; his moderate side is on display for everyone to see. The latest example is his equating the Tea Party with the Occupy Wall Street (OWS) crowd. While he's at it, he tries to rise above the fray by saying both parties are at fault in Congress for not working together. The truth is that the Democratic Party is being run by full-fledged Marxists that the Republican Party can only defeat if the Tea Party holds its feet to the fire.
Christie's premise appears to be that both sides are legitimately angry because government is broken but that both sides are demanding different solutions. That's a line of thinking that says it takes two to tango whenever there is conflict. The problem is that it's flat-out wrong and Christie should be ashamed of himself. The Tea Party is sick of freeloaders and wants the government to stop subsidizing that lifestyle while piling on unsustainable amounts of debt; it wants more personal accountability and less government. OWS is made up of freeloaders who want even less personal accountability; they want the government to steal from the private sector and re-distribute the wealth. What Christie says here is the equivalent of saying Capitalists and Communists both have legitimate beefs. It's despicable and I could do an entire post listing adjectives to describe Christie's insane position.
I wonder if politicians like Christie have to convince themselves to believe this garbage to actually sleep at night. This is shameless, via Washington Examiner:
The Tea Party is orderly, non-violent, cleans up after itself, and has demonstrated time and time again to be law-abiding. The poster child for the OWS protesters is a middle-aged man defecating on a police car; the group stinks and has the backing of the Communist Party USA and the American Nazi Party. Here are two anecdotal examples of the difference between the Tea Party and OWS.
At the Occupy Wall Street protest in Seattle, a man was arrested for exposing himself to children at least five times. At the OWS protest in Cleveland, a 19-year-old female claimed she was raped when another protester entered her tent.
I guess in Chris Christie's world, it takes two to tango when there is a rape. In reality, there is a rapist and a rape victim.

Audio: Howard Stern Exposes Ignorance of Occupy Wall Street Protesters
In short, the Occupy Wall Street (OWS) protests are nothing more than a hodgepodge of malcontents, miscreants, leeches, ignoramuses, Nazis and communists. This clip from Howard Stern - who comes across as a staunch defender of capitalism - so blatantly and thoroughly exposes the 'ignoramus' element of the OWS protests that if you don't laugh or cry, you need to check your birth certificate to see if you're from the planet Vulcan. On one level, these are the protesters who are the least dangerous because they are so irreparably devoid of intelligence. On another level, they are the most dangerous because of their sheer numbers. They are the useful idiots of the more nefarious groups like the Nazis, communists, and Islamists; they're simply to stupid to realize it.
Keep in mind as you listen to this that the Obama administration and the mainstream media both praise this bunch while painting the Tea Party as racist.
