Is the President's real name Barack Marshall Davis?

At the "Lenin and Sharia" conference on July 19th in Washington, D.C. the theme was vetting Barack Obama. One of the speakers / presenters was Joel Gilbert, the man behind the film Dreams from my REAL Father. Gilbert expounded on the theme of his film, which was that the Birthers have been making the wrong argument. Instead of arguing that Obama is not a citizen, says Gilbert, they should concede that he is one but that his father was actually a card-carrying member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA) - Frank Marshall Davis.

Via America's Survival:
Davis, perhaps the central figure in Obama’s early life, was referred to merely as “Frank” in Obama’s book Dreams from My Father. That cover-up was blown four years ago, when the identity of “Frank” was revealed and his 600-page FBI file was disclosed. Still, such figures as Dana Milbank of The Washington Post continue to refer to Davis as just a non-controversial “author.” Like many in the liberal media, Milbank has been determined to sanitize Obama’s relations with a Communist Party USA operative who was called before Congress to explain his involvement in “Soviet activities” in Hawaii.

These pro-Obama “journalists” understand that while the threat of communism does not pack the same kind of punch it did years ago, it would be extremely damaging for Obama to have it known that he was raised and trained by a Communist operative with loyalties to the old Soviet Union. Indeed, Obama’s loyalty to the U.S. might be questioned as a result.

Despite the failure to explain Davis’s Communist background and strong influence over Obama in his youth, the new Obama biography by David Maraniss, Barack Obama, the Story, confirms an Obama poem about “Pop” was about Davis, not the Kenyan or Obama’s grandfather. The poem talks about Davis and whiskey, and stains and smells on their “shorts.”
An interesting find by Sheriff Joe Arpaio's Cold Case Posse is the number "9" written in pencil next to the box of the Birth Certificate that is supposed to contain the race of the father. The document released by the Obama administration says "African" in that box, which raises another question and Mike Zullow was able to track down the 95-year old woman who signed the document as the local registrar at the time.
Gilbert was the first to assemble evidence that the “African,” Barack Hussein Obama, was not Obama’s real father, and to offer a coherent explanation as to why the cover-up occurred.

Once it was decided that Davis could not be listed as the father, after the birth, the Kenyan Obama, who had a wife and children in Kenya, agreed to a “sham marriage” in exchange for certain benefits, Gilbert says.

He explains, “The Kenyan Obama applied only to extend his visa and for a work permit, instead of citizenship which he would have done if it were a real marriage and if the child was his.  Frank Marshall Davis, a married man with five children, wanted the paternity covered up, while ‘Gramps,’ Stanley Dunham, needed a cover (Davis being under FBI surveillance) due to his government employment. Stanley Dunham knew the Kenyan Obama from his work with Operation Airlift Africa, as evidenced in the photo in the film. No father was named on Barack Obama’s birth certificate because it was not acceptable for Davis to be named as the father, while the Kenyan was not accepting responsibility for the child, only to assist in the cover up for short term benefit.”

Gilbert tells AIM that, in addition to all of this, “I corresponded and spoke several times with an elderly friend of Frank Marshall Davis named Stephen T. Murin, who was 93 years old. When I asked him about the Obama birth certificate, he told me, ‘as far as I know they didn’t put any father on it.’ Unfortunately, Murin passed away suddenly and I never got a chance to interview him on camera.”
If there is any truth to these charges, the issue is not one of Obama's citizenship but of his loyalty to the United States and the production of a fraudulent Birth Certificate to conceal that disloyalty.

Producing a fraudulent Birth Certificate would likely be an impeachable offense.

Here is the trailer for Gilbert's film:

Video: Second 'Dreams from my REAL Father' Trailer Released

The Obama defenders are calling this controversy 'Birther Lite' because it doesn't involve a contention that Barack Obama is not a U.S. citizen; it maintains that he was born in Hawaii but that Communist Frank Marshall Davis is the president's biological father. Talking Point Memo's Ryan J. Reilly rightfully claims that this torpedoes the argument of the 'Birthers' because it would mean that Obama is eligible to be president.

What Reilly doesn't report is that if the 'Lite' 'Birthers' are right, it would in fact back up Sheriff Joe Arpaio's conclusion that there is 'probable cause' that the Birth Certificate released by the Obama Administration in 2011 is fraudulent because it identifies Barack Hussein Obama Sr. as the father. If Davis is Obama's biological father, that becomes a self-evident and felonious truth.

That leads to the soon-to-be-released film by Joel Gilbert, who has just released his second trailer for the film. Before watching, this excerpt from his website might help explain what you're watching:
Racy photos of Barack Obama's mother, Ann Dunham, have recently surfaced in vintage fetish and bondage magazines. The photos, taken at Frank Marshall Davis' house in Honolulu, appeared in Bizarre Life, Exotique, Secret Pleasures, and Battling Babes. They help illustrate the intimate relationship between Dunham and Davis.
Gilbert also claims that these photos of Obama's mother were shot in Davis' home. WND reports on how Gilbert reached this conclusion:
He (Gilbert) traveled to Hawaii to inspect and photograph the Honolulu address that the FBI file documents as Davis’ residence beginning in 1956. The file shows he moved out in the late 1960s as he was beginning his divorce from his wife, Helen Canfield Davis. The divorce was not finalized until Sept. 30, 1969.

More Trump videos over Birther Certificate

Gotta love this kinda theater (Trump does).

First, Trump vs. Blitzer via Right Newz:

Second, Trump vs. George Will on Greta via GWP:

Audio: Trump jumps back into the Birth Certificate debate

Few would argue that Donald Trump played a key role in Obama releasing his long form Birth Certificate last year. Once it was released, Trump faded from public view on that issue a bit. Now, a couple of weeks after Breitbart released evidence that Obama's literary agent published a bio that said the then future president was born in Kenya, Trump is now using it to bring his profile to the fore again.

Via the Right Newz / CNBC:

Of course, George Will's performance on ABC's This Week during which he referred to Trump as a "bloviating ignoramus" will do little more than one thing - keep Trump in the news.

Trump then proceeded to go directly after Will via twitter.

Via New York Post:
Trump hit back later Sunday, tweeting, "George Will may be the dumbest (and most overrated) political commentator of all time. If the Republicans listen to him, they will lose."

Just days before he is set to headline a Las Vegas fundraiser with Romney, Trump made headlines by saying in an interview published Friday that he still does not believe Obama was born in the US -- even after the White House released a long-form birth certificate last year showing the president was, in fact, born in Hawaii.

Later Friday, Romney adviser Eric Fehrnstrom sought to distance the candidate from Trump's comments, telling CNN that Romney "accepts that President Obama was born in the United States."

Will may also have a more personal reason for disliking Trump, as the polarizing mogul called him a "totally overrated fool" and a "hack" during a March interview on "FOX & Friends."
Considering how vehemently Andrew Breitbart avoided the issue of Obama's birth certificate, it's mildly ironic that a Breitbart story is giving Trump a second wind on the issue. The Breitbart story may be breathing new life into the Birther movement.

Obama's Literary Agent: This Kenyan Birth line is no big deal; just a mistake

Yesterday, Breitbart dropped a bit of a Birther bombshell when it posted images from a booklet printed by Barack Obama's literary agent back in 1991. In that booklet, Obama's bio said he was "born in Kenya." Of course, if that were true, then the Birth Certificate Obama showed to the world last year is fraudulent because it said he was born in Hawaii. Therefore, a lie has taken place somewhere but who has the most to lose?

Barack Obama does, obviously. As such, does anyone expect him to admit giving the literary agent a falsified bio (or authorizing it) that showed his birthplace being outside the United States? No way. Does that not leave the literary agent on the hook for having to explain away an incorrect bio? That's what has just happened. However, she's not admitting to publishing intentionally falsified information. Instead, it's being called a 'fact checking error.'

Naturally.

Here is the statement released by Miriam Goderich via Political Wire (h/t Breitbart):
"You're undoubtedly aware of the brouhaha stirred up by Breitbart about the erroneous statement in a client list Acton & Dystel published in 1991 (for circulation within the publishing industry only) that Barack Obama was born in Kenya.  This was nothing more than a fact checking error by me -- an agency assistant at the time.  There was never any information given to us by Obama in any of his correspondence or other communications suggesting in any way that he was born in Kenya and not Hawaii.  I hope you can communicate to your readers that this was a simple mistake and nothing more."
Brouhaha? If (that's IF) Goderich were an unrepentant liar, that's exactly the kind of response you would expect. When an unrepentant liar is caught, the accuser is almost always diminished or smeared by the person caught.

Now, Breitbart is reporting that not only did Obama's bio remain unchanged relative to a Kenyan birth all the way to 2007 but that it was updated at least four times between 1991-2007 without ever changing the place of his birth.

Obama presented a Birth Certificate that says he was born in Hawaii. His literary agent published a bio (updated four times) for sixteen years that said he was born in Kenya. As one can expect, Obama is not the one who is going to take the fall, Goderich is.

And she's in the process of doing so... Sort of.

More at Breitbart.

Video: Barack, Who's Your Father?

This is basically a continuation from this post but here is Jerry McGlothlin of CleanTV giving his take on the film to be released this July entitled, "Dreams From my REAL Father," which claims to have evidence that Barack Obama's biological father was Frank Marshall Davis.

Again, and quite hypothetical, if Davis was Obama's father, any and all Birth Certificates presented by Obama are necessarily fraudulent because of who's identified as his father on those Certificates.

Via CleanTV:

Here is the trailer of the film.

***UPDATE*** Thought this might be a good video to add. It's a news report from a CBS 5 affiliate in Arizona that covered Sheriff Joe Arpaio's press conference on March 1st at which he charged that there is probable cause that the Birth Certificate Obama produced last year is fraudulent. Regardless of where you come down on the Birther argument, Arpaio's lead investigator, Mike Zullo makes a compelling case that the document was forged, created digitally.

Again, the question of last year's document being forged is completely separate from the charge that Obama was born in Kenya, which is a debate I've generally stayed away from.

Filmmaker claims evidence that Frank Marshall Davis was Barack Obama's Father

Consider this to be a new angle for the Birthers to pursue. There has been speculation over the years, from various sources, that Barack Obama's father was actually Communist Party USA member, Frank Marshall Davis. If such a charge can be proven, it would necessarily mean that Barack Obama knowingly and intentionally produced a fraudulent Birth Certificate both before he was elected and again last year, when Donald Trump pressed the issue.

The Fraudulent Birth Certificate meme that has been floating around since Sheriff Joe Arpaio got involved seems to be one that is getting more traction than the narrative that Obama was born in Kenya. Below is a trailer from a film that is going to be released in July called, Dreams from my REAL Father.

Hypothetical, yes, but if it were to be proven that Davis was Barack Obama's real father, it would mean that Obama was eligible to be president only before presenting a Birth Certificate that stated his father was Barack Obama, Sr. After doing that, he would be guilty of a felony.

Perhaps the most compelling evidence put forth in this video is a claim that there were multiple nude photos of Obama's mother - Stanley Ann Dunham - taken inside the home of Frank Marshall Davis about the same time the president would have been conceived.

All that to say, Barack Obama is truly a victim if any of this is true. He had no say in who his father was or how traumatic such a revelation may have been for him. However, that would not excuse him from committing an impeachable offense by presenting a fraudulent identification document as authentic, if that's indeed what has happened.

The evidence that the Birth Certificate produced last year is fraudulent is the most compelling yet in this whole saga. Arpaio says there is probable cause that it is a forgery. If that can be proven, the next question that needs to be answered is, why?

Worth a watch if nothing else.

Can a Romney loss to Obama be a good thing?

Yes, part of this is "glass half full" thinking but as I looked at it further, I began to wonder if a Romney loss to Obama would actually be a good thing. No, I'm not any less conservative than I was yesterday. Just imagine what the political climate will be in 2013 if the Republicans retain a majority in the House and get a strong majority in the Senate while still having to deal with Obama. Will the Republican establishment finally be forced into a fight - something it avoids like the plague? Here is my latest piece over at Red County:

Can Obama's Reelection be a Good Thing for Conservatives?
Ben Barrack

Conservatives are disheartened. It's becoming increasingly apparent that Mitt Romney will be the Republican nominee in the fight to defeat Barack Obama. If four years of Jimmy Carter so awakened Republican voters that they nominated Ronald Reagan, why has nearly four years of Jimmy Carter on steroids so sedated Republican voters that they've decided to nominate the equivalent of Gerald Ford as the best option for defeating him?

In large part, the establishment insists on it and, like Obama, seems disinterested in the will of the people. This establishment is so invested in Romney that it is overlooking the potential consequences of one very real possibility.

What if he loses? The establishment's credibility will have been torpedoed. Yes, at great expense, but torpedoed nonetheless.

If you thought the Tea Party was angry in 2009, just wait until 2013 if Barack Obama is sworn in for a second term after defeating Mitt Romney. For starters, conservative voters will be outraged at any Republican Senator, Congressman or Governor who helped shove Romney down their throats. Accountability could take on an entirely new meaning and those elected leaders will have their feet held to the fire like never before. Romney's name will be added to the long list of liberal Republicans who couldn't seal the deal. Any attempt by establishment elitists to point to Goldwater as evidence that conservatism can't win will be met with sardonic laughter that hopefully drives a stake through the heart of the argument.

Consider the example Fast and Furious, an operation that is not only being revealed as something akin to Watergate with murder but could very likely implicate the heads of nearly every major department and agency in the Obama Administration, to include DHS, DOJ, the FBI, and the State Department. There have been multiple reports that House Speaker John Boehner has asked Oversight Committee chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA) to back off of his investigation, ostensibly because of how high it could go.

While appearing on the Fox News Channel, Judson Phillips, the founder of Tea Party Nation was visibly frustrated at the lack of interest on the part of Republican Party leadership relative to being more aggressive with Attorney General Eric Holder. Judson went on to say the following:

“What my friends in Washington tell me is that Boehner says what he learned from the 1995 government shutdown is ‘you never pick a fight with the president.’”

If Romney loses to Obama, Boehner will be forced to pick that fight.

If Judson is correct, it points to Boehner being more interested in running out the clock – with the November election representing the final whistle – than in a dogged pursuit of justice, regardless of where it leads. Avoiding a showdown could conceivably allow Attorney General Eric Holder, FBI Director Robert Mueller, DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano, and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to skate – depending on their respective levels of involvement – instead of facing impeachment and removal from office for high crimes and misdemeanors.

Boehner has most certainly come across as disinterested in commenting on the scandal publicly and won't deviate from a short statement of support for what Issa's committee is doing. It would seem that Issa is wrestling with quite the Executive Branch behemoth and could use a greater show of public support from the House Speaker.

If there are any stories the establishment wants to see go away after the election, the ones about Obama's Birth Certificate, Social Security number, and Selective Service registration are at the top of the list. Such concerns are irrelevant, they say. Besides, the election is less than one year away and it's pointless to entertain the notion. The implication is that Joe Arpaio's investigation, even if it yields anything of substance, will be anti-climactic because Obama will be out of office and everyone will have moved on.

That is, unless he wins. Then what? If you thought the Birthers were loud before, just wait and see what happens if Obama is reelected.

Not only will the Birthers – who generally don't come across as avid Romney supporters – have four more years to continue their incessant drumbeat of demands for answers to their eligibility questions but the establishment that has made every attempt to ignore them will have been roundly defeated and, consequently, forced into a position of having to listen. With the wind knocked out of the establishment, its members will also be barraged with demands that they reconcile with their base (not the other way around) for supporting yet another in a long line of incredibly pathetic candidates. As much as the elites won't want to admit it, the Republican Party agenda could be set by conservative voters who were ignored by an establishment that still doesn't get it.

Tolerance will be in very short supply.

The sad prospect of Romney as the nominee is seemingly trumped only by the prospect that Obama could get a second term, which is made more likely, some believe, if Romney is nominated. Establishment, general election Republican losers like John McCain and Bob Dole have endorsed Romney, as have Governors Chris Christie and Nikki Haley. Tea Party favorites Marco Rubio and Christine O'Donnell have as well. A dangerous type of groupthink seems to have set in among Republican politicians that has generated a bizzare coalescence around a liberal candidate when the time is ripe for a conservative one.

For crying out loud, serial liar Howard Dean said the Democrats fear a face-off with Romney most over all the Republican candidates. Those of us who understand liberal tactics know that Dean means the exact opposite; that's why he said it. It'd be like a head coach proclaiming that his team fears facing his opponent's back up quarterback in an attempt to fool the other coach into starting him. Republican elites aren't as smart, apparently. They've been told by Howard Dean that their third string quaterback gives them their best chance and, by gum, they believe it.

Something else almost certain to happen after Romney's nomination; his religion will be thoroughly vetted by the liberal media. Most Americans know little to nothing about Mormonism but that is all going to change with Romney's nomination. According to a Gallup poll, 22% of Americans are hesitant about voting for a Mormon. Some argue that Mormonism is antithetical to Chrisitianity; some argue that it isn't; still others don't much care. One thing is certain. Everyone will know more about it with Romney as the Republican nominee for president. That, too, should be a good thing no matter what side you're on.

Don't lose heart, conservatives. Instead, check out Romans 8:28, which says:

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

In 2013, the Republican elites could find themselves at the intersection of 'be careful what you wish for' and 'sleeping in the bed you made.'

I hope they're preparing for both.

Sheriff Joe Presser: 'Probable cause' that Obama Birth Certificate a 'Forgery'

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio and his 'Cold Case posse,' led by Mike Zullo had a press conference yesterday to bring people up to speed on where their investigation stands with regard to Barack Obama's Birth Certificate, as well as the president's Selective Service document. The conclusion at this point is that there is 'probable cause' the documents are 'fraudulent' and that a 'forgery' has been committed in both cases.

Via Washington Times:
Armed with a new 10-page report he commissioned, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio said Thursday he suspects the birth certificate President Obama released last year is a “computer-generated forgery” — and also raised questions about the authenticity of the president’s selective service registration card.

In an extensive — and at times combative — press conference in Phoenix, Sheriff Arpaio repeatedly said he is not questioning the president’s legal status under the Constitution nor alleging fraud on Mr. Obama’s part, but did say there is evidence crimes have been committed by someone and his investigation continues.

“Based on all of the evidence presented and investigated, I cannot in good faith report to you that these documents are authentic,” Sheriff Arpaio said. “My investigators believe that the long-form birth certificate was manufactured electronically and that it did not originate in paper format as claimed by the White House.”
Much of the press conference mirrored what has already been done on the internet by graphic artists who used presentations to demonstrate why the document is a forgery but there were moments that made eyebrows cock.

For example, Zullo mentioned that efforts were made to obtain passenger manifests for all flights coming into Hawaii from overseas over a ten year span. Any such flights during the 1960's would have been either Pan-Am or TWA. Though the manifests no longer exist, they were able to get ten years worth of INS records from the National Archives. Apparently, in reviewing them, the records from August 1, 1961 - August 8, 1961 were all missing (Obama's Birth Certificate says he was born on August 4th).

Another moment involved an affidavit from a former government employee who swore that in the early 1980's, he was introduced to Barack Obama on the front lawn of the home belonging to Bill Ayers' mother.

There was also an announcement that the 'Cold Case posse' has a person of interest relative to the alleged creation of Barack Obama's Birth Certificate but would not reveal it.

Another area of focus for the 'posse' was Barack Obama's Selective Service registration form, which I've always viewed as more suspect than the Birth Certificate.

In any event, Arpaio seemed to somewhat throw up his hands while pledging to carry on with the investigation. As a former federal employee, he seemed to concede that any agency having jurisdiction in this case seems disinterested in pursuing it. He's basically admitting that if Hawaii's state investigators will do nothing to further the investigation, the only place to get justice is Congress, which is nowhere near being interested in pursuing it.

So, it looks like Arpaio is left with looking for any smoking gun that might exist, on his own.

WND has the entire press conference available here.

Obama's Georgia Eligibility case Transcends Birtherism

Look, I've stayed away from the Birther cases as much as anyone but this story transcends that issue by a country mile. It's not about the location of Obama's birth. It's about his being above the law. First, to re-cap. In a case brought by five plaintiffs, it was argued that Barack Obama should be off the primary ballot in Georgia. Last month, Judge Michael M. Malihi denied a request by Obama's attorney to quash the subpoena that required the president to appear before the court for the January 26th hearing.

Obama responded by thumbing his nose at said judge and did not appear. In a sane world, that translates to a default judgment for the plaintiffs. That did not happen. Instead, in what could have been seen at the time as a show of respect for the office of the President, Malihi ruled that he would reserve judgment and allow both sides to present summaries as to why the court should rule in their favor.

Obama's attorney, Michael Jablonski, then went to the Secretary of State for Georgia, Brian Kemp, who had the authority to review Malihi's decision. Kemp, in essence, told Jablonski that his client (Obama) needs to respect the decision, saying:
“If you and your client choose to suspend your participation in the …proceedings, please understand that you do so at your own peril.”
Malihi has now ruled in favor of Obama. As I said, this story transcends "birtherism." A defendant has defied a judge's ruling that said defendant appear before the court and said Judge responded by ruling in the defendant's favor.

Via WND:
An administrative law judge in Georgia today ruled that Barack Obama’s name can be on the state’s 2012 presidential election ballot because he was born in Hawaii, is “native born” and thus also is “natural born” as required by the Constitution.

He cited a little-known determination by an Indiana judge.

“The Indiana court determined that a person qualifies as a natural born citizen if he was born in the United States because he became a United States citizen at birth,” wrote Michael Malihi, an administrative law judge in Atlanta.
Those who dismiss this Georgia case risk doing what Democrats did in defense of Bill Clinton during the Impeachment hearings. "It was just sex," they said. No, it was about perjury.

It's important here not to get bogged down in the "tin-foil hat" aspect often attributed to Birthers.

This can't get any simpler. It's not about the validity of Obama's Birth Certificate; it is about a defendant kissing off a judge by not showing up when ordered and then having said judge rule in the defendant's favor.

HERE is an article written by one of the plaintiffs, Laurie Roth.

Sorry Folks, this Birther Story in Georgia is Newsworthy

A case has been brought against Barack Obama by Georgia residents who say he his not eligible to appear on that state's presidential primary ballot. That, by itself, is not all that newsworthy. However, Georgia Judge Michael M. Malihi has denied Obama's request not to have to appear in front of the court on January 26th. That is newsworthy.

Via the AP:
ATLANTA (AP) — A judge has ordered President Barack Obama to appear in court in Atlanta for a hearing on a complaint that says Obama isn't a natural-born citizen and can't be president.

It's one of many such lawsuits that have been filed across the country, so far without success. A Georgia resident made the complaint, which is intended to keep Obama's name off the state's ballot in the March presidential primary.
What is the argument from the administration as to why Obama shouldn't appear? Well, he's too busy. Here is an excerpt from the Judge's order that denies the administration's motion to quash the subpoena:
In support of his motion, Defendant argues that "if enforced, [the subpoena] requires him to interrupt duties as President of the United States" to attend a hearing in Atlanta, Georgia. However, Defendant fails to provide any legal authority to support his motion to quash the subpoena to attend. Defendant's motion suggests that no President should be compelled to attend a Court hearing. This may be correct. But Defendant has failed to enlighten the Court with any legal authority.
It ends with the following sentence:
Accordingly, the Defendant's motion to quash is denied.
Read the entire order HERE.

Does this mean that Obama will appear in court on January 26th? Hardly, but it'll be interesting to see what the Judge does after getting the proverbial kiss-off.

Videos: Out Come the After-Birthers

For sheer entertainment value, be sure to watch MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell attempt to get Orly Taitz - long known as 'Queen of the Birthers' - to admit that Obama has unequivocally proven that he was born in Hawaii with the release of his long form Birth Certificate. Taitz doesn't even acknowledge the question once but instead demands closeups of a document she has in her hands. When O'Donnell asks her what it is, she begins talking about Obama's Selective Service number. At that point, the avowed Socialist O'Donnell begins blowing gaskets in large numbers.

Via The Blaze:

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

Taitz obviously thought it more beneficial to focus on something else rather than declare the Long form a forgery. Had she done that, O'Donnell may have begun screaming like an insolent child. There are people out there who are declaring the long form a fake. Check it out:

Sorry about this: Another Birther Post

Look, the Birth Certificate questions surrounding Barack Obama continue to be caused by those on the left who engage in the debate. The story had been reduced to embers before Hawaii's Democrat governor Neal Abercrombie whipped out the proverbial bellows and got the debate raging again. After Abercrombie came up empty and with egg on his face, Donald Trump threw another log on the fire and voila. What's interesting now is an argument posited by a Hawaiian official who says that the state of Hawaii NEVER releases long form Birth Certificates, not even to the people whose birth they represent.

Over at MSNBC, Michael Isikoff has a post in which Dr. Chiyome Fukino, Hawaii's former Director of that state's Department of Health not only insists that she's seen it but knows exactly where it is:
The first is that the original so-called "long form" birth certificate — described by Hawaiian officials as a "record of live birth" — absolutely exists, located in a bound volume in a file cabinet on the first floor of the state Department of Health. Fukimo said she has personally inspected it — twice. The first time was in late October 2008, during the closing days of the presidential campaign, when the communications director for the state's then Republican governor, Linda Lingle (who appointed Fukino) asked if she could make a public statement in response to claims then circulating on the Internet that Obama was actually born in Kenya.
So it's in a filing cabinet in a bound folder on the first floor of the Health Department building. Here is the corresponding video:

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

Notice that Isikoff says that for this 'conspiracy' to continue, Dr. Fukino would have to be lying. Well, is it possible that she was lying about who can and cannot see original, long form Birth Certificates? It appears so. If Fukimo is to be believed, no one has access to any original long form Birth Certificates except the Health Department. Toward the end of the MSNBC article, Issikoff identifies Joshua Wisch as a spokesman for the Hawaii attorney general's office. Here's what Isikoff writes about Wisch:
Wisch, the spokesman for the attorney general's office, said state law does not in fact permit the release of "vital records," including an original "record of live birth" — even to the individual whose birth it records.
World Net Daily (before you scoff) has an article posted today in which several long form Birth Certificates have been copied and are available for viewing. Seriously, regardless of where you come down on this issue, the latest attempt to diffuse this controversy seems highly suspect. Even if you dismiss these claims, the images of the multiple long form Birth Certificates don't lie. Fukino should have to explain this disparity.

It would appear that Dr. Fukino may have stepped in it worse than Governor Abercrombie. Ruh Roh.

Read it all.

Video: Obama Senior Adviser Mocks Donald Trump

Something tells me Trump isn't going to let this go very long without a response. White House senior adviser David Plouffe comes off more than a little bit arrogant here. After being asked about Donald Trump's rise in the polls - in itself, a testament to how much of an impact Trump is having on the public discourse - Plouffe insists that he wants Trump to keep on climbing because he has no chance of being elected. He then calls it all a 'sideshow.'

I have long maintained that the entire Birther issue has been about Obama leading anyone who wants to go, down a blind alley as one of his distractions. That said, if that's true, and he produces his long form Birth Certificate, proving once and for all that was his strategy, there will be at least two very difficult questions for him to answer.

1.) Why did he spend so much money and wait so long?
2.) Why did he allow Lt. Co. Terry Lakin to go to jail over it?

The Brainers are Coming! The Brainers are Coming!

No one has done a better job of resurrecting the Birther debate than Donald Trump. He's always had the ability to get the liberal press to take notice of what he says. He was very critical of the Bush administration to boot. The real question is whether 'The Donald' is going to take up the latest scandal regarding Obama - Brainerism. Barack Obama apparently has a lengthy scar on his head that is prompting people to ask if the man has had brain surgery.

Not kidding.

Via the Daily Mail:
Internet blog sites, conspiracy theorists and forums are awash with rumours as to what those mystery scars on the president's head are from.

In pictures, Obama appears to have a long scar which goes up the side of his head and over his crown.

Some conspiracy theorists claim they are scars that you would see on someone who has had brain surgery.

But without medical records (along with his school records and birth certificate) no one seems to be able to provide an answer as to the cause of the mystery scars.

Ben Hart, a blogger for Escape The Tyranny a website which presents itself as a Social Network & Forum For Conservatives, said: 'Obama's almost done with his first term, and we still know almost nothing about the background of the President of the United States.

'Whatever happened to create that scar, it was clearly something serious. Was it a brain operation? Has it affected his thinking?

'No one is allowed to see his birth certificate. He is just one big mystery man, which adds intrigue to what that huge scar is all about.'
Whether you buy into this one or not, one fact is true. There is very little known about this man's background.

Video: Donald Trump Targeting Birther Vote

Presidential hopeful Donald Trump is doubling down on his comments that Barack Obama should show his Birth Certificate. In his interview with Geraldo, Trump does a very good job of batting away the attempt by Geraldo to put him in the same camp as the Birthers by simply saying that he hopes Obama was born in America but that the controversy has gone on for far too long; Obama could end it simply by doing what even Chris Matthews has called for. Just show the darn thing and let's move on!

You've got to admit. It's hard to argue the point. Trump has a knack for being heard and perhaps he's latched onto an issue he can exploit. We'll see.

Video: Chris Matthews' Latest Obsession - Birthers!

Now that Hawaii's registered socialist governor, Neil Abercrombie has come up empty with respect to his pledge to shut the birthers up with documented proof, the narrative of MSNBC's Chris Matthews must necessarily change. Ain't it funny? In late December, Chris Matthews had David Corn and Clarence Page on his show to discuss Hawaii's registered socialist governor's effort to debunk the birthers by producing documentation that would end the controversy. During that exchange, Matthews said Obama should just release the long form birth certificate to end the controversy and embarrass the birthers. Corn and Page agreed. Corn even went a step further to say that presenting it would allow him to 'make even more fun of the birthers.'

Abercrombie then lays a goose egg. What to do, what to do. Matthews had Corn and Howard Fineman on the program to discuss the new Arizona bill that would prevent Obama from being on that state's ballot in 2012 unless he can produce the long form. The narrative clearly changed from 'Obama should produce it' to one of 'one doesn't exist but it doesn't matter.'

It's so funny watching someone with egg on his face ramble as if it wasn't there.

To fully appreciate that exchange, one almost needs to see this one from when registered socialist Abercrombie had just begun his quest to prove the birthers wrong.

David Corn: 'Arizona may be where this Birther Ball gets rolling'

They don't come much more liberal than David Corn of Mother Jones. In his latest missive, he expresses concern that Arizona is likely to pass a state law that will prevent Obama from appearing on the 2012 ballot without producing his long form birth certificate. He appears to want to diminish the significance of one state with ten electoral votes that Obama lost in 2008 anyway but then has to concede that this could become bigger than he'd like to see it.

Via Mother Jones:
The birthers have a plan to end Barack Obama's presidency—and in Arizona, they're making progress.

Last week, Arizona state Rep. Judy Burges, a Republican, introduced a bill that would bar presidential candidates who do not prove they were born in the United States from appearing on the ballot in the Grand Canyon state. And state Rep. Chad Campbell, the top Democrat in the GOP-controlled Arizona House of Representatives, tells Mother Jones that the bill is likely to pass. It was introduced with 25 co-sponsors in the House and 16 co-sponsors in the state Senate; the measure needs 31 votes in the House and 16 in the Senate for approval. "Will it matter?" asks Campbell. "We've started a tradition here of passing legislation that is political grandstanding or that sets up litigation."

But the birthers—those ardent Obama foes who believe the president was not born in Hawaii and, thus, is not constitutionally qualified serve as president—see this measure as more than symbolic. For them, it's part of a well-orchestrated campaign to deny Obama reelection.

It's not that Obama necessarily requires Arizona's 10 electoral votes to win reelection in 2012. In 2008, he lost there to John McCain, Arizona's senior senator (though in 2012, Obama could make a play for the state). More important, Burges' bill—which would establish a strict standard for proving natural-born citizenship (which the birthers presume Obama could not meet)—is a model for other states, and similar efforts are under way in Pennsylvania, Missouri, Montana, Georgia, and Texas. (Obama won Pennsylvania in 2008 and lost Missouri by less than 4,000 votes.) Arizona may be where this birther ball gets rolling.
I have long dismissed the Birthers as being more interested in going down blind alleys than in pursuing more important stories found on other avenues but in this case, they may be winning the debate, especially in light of the recent antics of Hawaii's socialist governor. Back in December, Corn himself said, while appearing on MSNBC's Hardball, that Obama should go ahead and release the long form to end the conspiracy theories. While he did so mockingly, he nonetheless conceded that he wanted socialist governor Neil Abercrombie - who went on an indignant quest to prove Obama's citizenship and shut the birthers up - to end the conspiratorial controversy once and for all.

Small problem for Corn that he doesn't address in his article. Abercrombie struck out.

Said Corn of Abercrombie last month on Hardball: 'There's nothing he's going to do that's going to change any mind of anybody out there who already believes this.' Lost on Corn is the fact that Abercrombie didn't do anything; he produced NOTHING. Here's the increasingly infamous segment from Hardball where three hard core liberals - Corn, Matthews, and Clarence Page - advocated that Obama produce the long form.

Ruh Roh: Celebrity Journalist Backtracks on Birth Certificate Claim

The Birthers are going to have an absolute field day with the latest saga. Celebrity journalist Mike Evans appeared on a Minneapolis radio station recently and stated that he has been close friends with Hawaii Governor and registered socialist Neil Abercrombie for years and that Abercrombie told him that there is no Obama Birth Certificate in existence in Hawaii. That caused enough of a stir that Evans is now saying he never spoke to Abercrombie after stating quite emphatically that he had.

Via Fox News:
Mike Evans told FoxNews.com on Wednesday he was remorseful and embarrassed that he appeared to have given the impression that he had discussed the search for Obama’s birth certificate with Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie.
Evans then went on to explain exactly how he made such a mistake...
“Only this I can you tell you is 100 percent fact: that Neil never told me there was no birth certificate,” Evans told Fox News. “I never talked to him.”

Last week’s radio interview was part of Evans’ syndicated five-minute feature, “On the Road with Mike Evans,” which is broadcast on 34 stations across the country each morning.

On the morning of Jan. 20, Evans says he accidentally told one of those radio stations -- KQRS -- that he’d spoken directly with Gov. Abercrombie about the Obama birth certificate.

“I was on 34 radio stations that morning. That was the only station where I said, instead of saying ‘the hospital said there’s no birth certificate’ I misspoke and said Neil said that,” Evans said. “I misspoke and I apologize for that. I apologize to Neil.”
I guess it's theoretically possible that after talking to 34 stations, you might get your lines crossed but if Evans can make a mistake like this, how much stock should listeners put into what he's saying about anything?

Anyway, here's the original interview with Evans in which he says Abercrombie - registered socialist - told him there is no Obama Birth Certificate.

Socialist Hawaii Governor: There is no Obama Birth Certificate

Bithers notwithstanding, the left is boxing itself into a corner over the issue of Obama's eligibility. Hawaii Governor and registered member of the Democratic Socialists caucus, Neil Abercrombie made news in December when he indignantly said he was going to put the Birther issue to bed by producing documents that would shut the Birthers up. Not only that, but Chris 'Tingles' Matthews mockingly called for Obama to produce the evidence as well, not because he believed it was a legitimate issue but because he wanted a Birther smack-down. Matthews' two far left guests, David Corn and Eugene Robinson chimed in with condescending agreement.

Small problem. Abercrombie has come out and admitted there's nothing further he can do; he cannot produce the evidence he pledged to produce.

Making Abercrombie's situation even more significant is a radio interview by Hollywood Celebrity reporter Mike Evans on 92 KQRS in Minneapolis. During that interview, Evans told the hosts he has been a close friend of Abercrombie for years and that the Hawaii Governor and Registered Socialist told him that no Birth Certificate exists for Obama. The original YouTube of Evans has already been pulled but here's another version.

If that video is pulled by the time you read this, here is exactly what Evans said, via the Daily Caller:
According to Evans, who claims that Abercrombie has been his friend “for decades,” the Hawaii Democrat revealed to him “there is no Barack Obama birth certificate in Hawaii, absolutely no proof at all that Obama was born in Hawaii.”
It would appear that there are some far lefties whose faces are smeared with proverbial eggs.

For grins, here's the exchange between Matthews, Corn, and Robinson back in December. If Matthews is truly interested in ratings, he will revisit this issue once the thrill running up his leg that was brought on by Obama's State of the Union speech dissipates.
